What's with the scroll bars?

This morning I've noticed strange greyed-out scroll bars appearing when I quote (in the Parents thread), and I've just had them appear on a basic post (in response to Martin's blog). Took a screen-shot:

What gives?

    Been happening to me too, but when I go off that page and then go back on it, they're not visible anymore.

    They seem to come and go with refreshes.

    I think it is to do with the image resizing code that the techie team are trying to implement.

    Most threads. Seems to happen mainly when people quote.

    Certainly seems to be something to do with images.

    Even the viewpost.gif icon.


    Happens with Firefox 3.6, Google Chrome and Opera here so far.

    Well I'm using Google Chrome and haven't seen it at all so perhaps it's not linked to which browser you use?
