    How do you do all that in a slow cooker.....does it all cook in the gravy...

    just chucked it all in this morning with about half a pint of water and some gravy granules, dollop of brown sauce and some dried herbs. Stuck the dumplings in about 10 min ago. It produces its own gravy as the day goes by. When it goes on the plates if the gravy is a bit thin I'll add some more granules and give it a stir before I put the gravy on it. There will be enough for me to take out a decent portion to freeze for dinner next week when OH is away.
