You can still use clubcard vouchers for OU courses, they're worth 4x the value.
Yay Gemmzie!
I can't remember who it was who wanted a button up dressing gown, but I've just seen some fleece ones in Tesco in the clearance for £7. If it's someone going to Bunny's party I can try and get one and bring it with me.
I'm having spicy rice cakes for dinner, except they're not spicy. Also just had some nice mini chocolate meringues.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

These units will hopefully let more families get out and about to events. It's a great project... it just takes me to some very strange websites!!!
Sorry I usually just lurk but am interested in these units. Do you hire them out for events or do you install them at places of interest - museums ect - cos my son needs hoisting and is toileted on a table/bed and we find it hard to get out and about
Also is it Aimes who has had a financial assessment for Social Services - if you have difficulty cleaning and need a cleaner or some one to do gardening, they may deduct those expenses if you could somehow prove you pay out for them. Even if it's just a friend you pay for a couple of hours a week. ( a receipt or a bill from them maybe. I know what it's like trying to think of things that cost extra because of disability - the thing is it becomes just normal daily living expenses and you just pay the extra without even thinking about it.
Any how back to lurking I think
Thanks

TWF, I've arranged for a cleaner, that'll come off.
I've also thought of loads more little things - foot stuff cos they hurt so much after walking, dry shampoo cos I can't wash my hair often, car wash. I could cry though about the equipment I've bought over the last few months but not kept the receipt for. I'm also going to try and get my phones included - my care plan includes phoning the samaritans or crisis team so I need a landline, and I often get panic attacks in town or the supermarket and need to ring someone to help calm me down, so I need a mobile. Although to be honest if I can get them to accept that I do spend £20 on petrol a week (easy to prove with receipts), that and the carer should knock it down to 0.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
