    Well done Gemmzie, great news.
I'd love to do an OU course but couldn't afford to do the course I want to do to help me get into teaching :(

Me too! I'd nearly be able to clear my student overdraft if I can get this money back :D

Hi Lizzie, have you looked into their financial support? Maybe an option for you :)

Claire - you could have mushed your bananas up into the fairy cake mixutre - they work well.

Got 10 items photographed and typed up ready for ebay, I've culled my wardrobe of anything wintery that I've not worn this year....if I've not worn it - I don't need it. (forgot to weigh them tho so need to go do that before I list them tonight.)

Turkey burgers are made for tea tonight - going to have homemade oven chips, corn cobs and onion rings with them....with lashings of sweet chilli jam as I've got loads to use up. Might make some fairy cakes too.

DH supervised whilst I started some banana wine off.......he's really missing being able to do his home brewing, thought it might cheer him up a bit.

You used to be able to use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for OU courses- not sure if you still can, but might be worth a look?

Ames if you keep the bottles stored upside down then you don't have to do the squeezing....I have to do that because of my carpal tunnel.

Lush do some fab shampoo bars too - like soap but you just swoosh it round your hair 2 or 3 times and lather up....they last a long time too.

Hello Lizzie - welcome to the daily :j

I LOVE shampoo bars, didn't know Lush did them, I usually stock up whenever I see them on craft fairs, haven't had any for a while though. I always find they clean my hair better too.
