    Afternoon all!
Had some good news about my next and last school teaching practice placement - its in a really good school but its a bit of a drive away so will mean longer days but if all goes well it'll be good for the CV!

    Today's little list..
    • Breakfast from home but did spend £1.70 on lunch at uni
    • Make tea from stores
    • Walk dogs x3 for free exercise ( 2 done)
    • Posted first job application, don't think I have much hope but it was good practice and I needed to start somewhere
    • Check banks
    • Hoover downstairs (pesky puppy!)
    • Got £8 back from uni for trip I paid to go on but got cancelled in the snow
    • OH and I have decided to meet friends for drinks on Saturday but not to go for a meal afterwards - I have to get back for the dogs and he's playing footy on Sunday morning so have a good excuse to go and be socialable but not spend too much - good for the diet too!
That's it for today - have a good evening

    Today I have-

    -been paid! Woohoo!
-checked all my online banking gubbins
-tidied my room and changed bed, dusted half the surfaces
-cleared all of the paper out of my room for recycling
-filed away all of my paperwork and cleared the files of stuff I don't need any more (and properly rearranged my work file into some logical order)
    -closed my next account

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time

  • Hi everyone

Can I join in? I read the thread everyday anyway so thought I'd stop lurking and say hey!

    Today I have:

    - Checked Online Bank & Updated Spreadsheet
    - Listed a few more items on Ebay tonight
    - Visited the Library! Has been so long my old library card was defunct!

That's my little lot for today anyway.

Also, am I a fraud posting on here if I don't have any debt as such? Back with my parents saving for a deposit for a house (nearly there... get it end of April :j) so will obviously have a mortgage in the near future but have no other loans, credit cards or outstanding debt etc. Obviously I want to keep it that way though. DFW is my favourite board and the first one I always log onto... :o
