Questions to ask a personal trainer before I take the plunge ?

Ok its a brand new year and I am looking to get in shape for whatever this year has in store for me.
After being a mummy for 2 years I want to try and get back into shape and lose some of my ' mother bird baggage ' and have found a personal trainer in surrey who I spoke to yesterday and seems to know her stuff.
Are there any things I should ask her about the personal training courses they do as I want to try and lose maybe 2 stones but am unsure of what a realistic time frame is to do this as I am 15.5 stone and I would rather do it slowly and properly so I don't look like a prune at the end of it.
Does anybody use a personal trainer and offer any tips on how they keep to any fitness plans set as I really want to get my motivation up to do this but obviously want to ask the questions I should ask rather than fulfil my need to go gung-ho into this as I have never used one before and I have seen stuff about people having varying success.
Do you think it would be out of order for me to ask to see them in work so I can see if its something I can get into ?
Thanks

i have read through another topic they posted on, seems legit to me.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Had a look at about 8 posts - can't see any of the links you mention?
Seriously if it were a spammer - I would have thought their account would not have stayed open for so long.
There's a link in the post OP made above (from which I have removed one letter so no-one links from my post:D).susan_haruel07 wrote: »After being a mummy for 2 years I want to try and get back into shape and lose some of my ' mother bird baggage ' and have found a personal trainer in surrey who I spoke to yesterday and seems to know her stuff.0 -

Obviously a stupid spammer, personal trainer in a mobile fone forum

Excuse me, but you are quite rude and insulting, I posted this up in the correct place when the server was having some maintenance and it landed up here.
Referring to 'closed's' statement about me linking to every site I recommend ... I am not the first person to do this on the forum. To call me a spammer as a result of that is silly and I actually take offence to be labelled as such.
My hubby works as an accounts clerk and gets a works offer card every month, listing special offers and stuff and I like to try and get a bargain if I can from any of the companies listed on them.
I am actually shocked that some of you think that lowly of other forum members to disrupt a legitimate question with your accusations of 'spamming' and make attempts at portraying my posts as sinister or with ulterior motives.
As OneADay says if I was a spammer I would have had my account stopped a long time ago and I was not aware anything I had posted broke any rules.
I am soooooo  at reading some of your spiteful comments, calling me stupid ...
Not one of you even have the decency to even read my post and give any advice, you just wan to try and sling mud at me even though I have been a forum member since 23-04-2007 !!!!!
Some of you need to take a chill pill, ask a nice question and then look through the forum before labelling people as spammers or stupid.
I am actually going to complain to a mod about this as its not right people can slur people like this - I dont have a posting ' history ' or trouble behind me, so why do some of you think you can label me in the way you have demonstrated on this thread .. :mad:professional mum and bargain hunter0 -
If I was wrong you have my sincere apologies, but the fact your links all tied up was suspicious - a common trick used by spammers
closed, let me be absolutely clear with you.
YOU are WRONG - I am not a spammer or a dodgy forum member. Without trying to return the compliment of slurring your character, I am going to leave it at that.
If anybody would like to leave any suggestions about using a personal trainer that would be great.
What would be even better is if a mod could move this post to where it was intended when I originally posted.
Thanks for ruining my Friday
