QUOTE becomes quote ........

Just recently the quoting seems to have gone askew. When I quote someone, sometimes the QUOTE becomes quote thus the parser fails to detect it. However, in the same message the QUOTE works fine and no case change occurs.

Using Firefox 1.5.0.4 GNU/Linux.
