Hi Paulm94,
Sorry to hear you are having some problems with your TalkTalk service. Have you asked TalkTalk to cancel phone service or have you asked another service provider to take over your service? If you have asked for a cancelation then this takes upto 10-14 days to complete and will result in a total loss of service on your landline. As Fast have advised this will also cease any broadband services active on the line
If you would like us to take a closer look into what orders have been placed please register and post at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums and we'll be able to let you know what orders have been placed by TalkTalk and why.
Cheers

Well paulm94 I thought your post was clear enough.
He ordered TalkTalk on 17 Jan, bottled out for some reason and cancelled the order on 20 Jan. In the interim TalkTalk naturally ordered a cease on the BT line. That cease order is still in place even though he's decided not to proceed with TalkTalk and he wants you (TalkTalk) to cancell your cease order with BT.
This highlights the problem of going with a full LLU provider. If you back out at any time you lose all your phone based services and they have to be started again from scratch.0 -
Hi Paulm94,
Sorry if I mis-interprited your post initially. If an order for TalkTalk services was progressing you will have been allocated an account number - if you have this then you'd be able to register for the forums and we can check that the order to transfer your services is canceled fully. If you don't have any correspondence with an account number then you would need to call the Retentions team on 0870 444 1820 to confirm cancelation of the order.
Provided the order to transfer to TalkTalk is cancelled within the Cooling off Period there will be no loss of service on your line.
Cheers
