Just wanted to say thanks everyone for suggestions.

Put an ad in autotrader online for £10, asked for £450ono (it was a guesstimate!). Had well over 10 phone calls.

A chancer came and offered me £250 beacuse he thought the steering was 'heavy' (the car is 15 yrs old and has no PAS!!), he phoned his 'mechanic' friend who told him it would take £200 to fix lol!! I might be female but I am not that dumb!!

Sold it today to an enthusiast for the full asking price - he thought he had a bargain with the car being in such good condition!!! He gave the impression that I had underpriced the car but given that good ones sold for £400 on ebay I thought I had overpriced it! Apparently it will soon be a classic lol!! Anyway, buyer and seller extremely happy!!

Glad I held out for the right buyer and he will treat the car with care!!

    Beks,

Glad you got the sale. How much did you ask for it?

Just to give you an idea, my M Reg Rover 114 (Tarted up metro!) cost me £275 with a full MOT last summer. 76k miles.

Autos do tend to fetch a small premium though....
Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male:

    £450 - 7m MOT, 6m Tax and 44k - I thought I would be laughed at!!!! Obviously not!

Glad you sold it, it just proves there is a buyer for everything (if the price is right).
