I have a load of Partylite candles and accessories if anybody wants them to re-sell?

You don't have (going to try my best to describe it here) its a silver wavy stand and you can put 4 glass globes on it do you? Desperately want that set but refuse to give my 'so called friend' the commission!

Cally - I have some jewellery making friends, an event planner and a soap maker that I could pass your details onto if you need more content. They are always looking for ways to boost traffic

Crikey can't believe how much dribbling has been going on today. My head hurts from all the reading :D:D

Still can't shake this flu thing, ended up at the docs today and have septic throat:( so not been going at 100% for a while, but I'm still doing what I can.

My ebay stuff has been going ok , managed to make over £200 after fees with bits and bobs from around the house.Just to mention something I noticed , I had some things I wanted to sell collection only , I put my area in the description ie: Red socks collection only Manchester and I made way more than I was expecting. One item was selling for an average price of £4 ,I got £16.90:D I've had no problems with people collecting, one person even gave me an extra fiver because I was so nice and helpful:o
sorry just read that back and it sounds like waffle :o

Managed to sell a few books on amazon and a few bits on gumtree so am really happy . I haven't been able to put as much effort in as I would like so thrilled with the amount I've made so far

Thank you moneymakestheworldgoround for adding me to the front page. The reason I'm doing this is to reduce my debt.

I've been so inspired by all the chat and ideas floating around here. hopefully when the urge to die passes I'll be able to get more involved:p

Sorry for waffling on so much :o

truly1 - not sure to be honest, have you tried their forums/webinars ? There's someone on FB who sells Barefoot Books and her name is Liz sumit (hope thats not you, lol) and she seems quite in the know about it all

nixi - yeah no bother hun, when you're ready

lilac - thanks for the offer of asking your friends but i'm kinda wanting to keep it to helping the MSE'ers on this thread (my contribution in helping others reach their target) - hope you understand

Yay, I caught up at last.

Amber - I foster cats too, nice to hear of someone else who does it. I am looking after Thomas at the moment who got knocked over, rescued by the RSCPA and has an external fixator (metal rod) holding his back leg together. He's absolutely beautiful and can run round the house on his three good-ish legs as fast as my cats can! Here's a pic (if it works):

Indierocker - I'm so glad your sim cards have started to sell, I remember how down you were about the lack of sales a week or so ago. It's really encouraging that things are picking up for you as I was also getting a bit fed up with ebay, but a few bits that I've relisted have watchers this week so fingers crossed.

I can't remember if it was on this thread or the Grabbit one, (and it is definitely off topic:cool:), but I went through Quidco for the first time a couple of days ago and got the free collage from photobox. My colleague at work has just become a grandad, so I put pics of his granddaughter in it. It was free and I wasn't expecting too much, but it arrived today and I swear he welled up!! It really did look fantastic! He went rushing off to show everyone and went to get a frame for it at lunch time. He is now trying his hand at Quidco himself to get another one done for his son. You know they say that happiness comes from giving? Well it was proved true today - I've been on a high all day :p

I'm now trawling through Quidco to see what I've been missing out on all this time. I mentioned it to my sister today and she said, "Oh yes, I've been using it for ages"!!! Why didn't she tell me then?!!! Grrrrr! :D

Thanks Cally, I have looked at those but other sellers have got all the obvious ones sewn up.

I have to be creative, I think.

  • Aw Joey, Thomas is gorgeous. Lulu has found a new home and is off tomorrow - I'm a little sad but glad that I've given her a good start. It's a very important job that we do, no?

It is, I totally agree. However, I often get people say how good it is that I do all this for the cats, and I have to put them straight. I get much more out of it than the cats do - I fall in love with every one of them, cry my eyes out when they leave, then fall in love with the next ones all over again. I especially love it in "kitten season" - nothing can beat getting 1 day old kittens with their mum and seeing them through the first 10 weeks of their lives. Best thing I ever got talked into! :j

Have you done it for long?
