  • oohh 2 cats, I was just thinking. I could send you some of the work when I've done it so you can see what the workload is like? Or I can leave you alone, lol.

MMabel - I love your stuff. I will put it in my next article! (If you don't mind?)

Em- I'm so glad your friend liked it- I've got some labels now for the Seren stuff so will use them on non- wedding charms I think to avoid confusing people!

Cheers Paula- yeah the starfish pendant is gorgeous- I'm still waiting for my friend to give me a wedding photo of her wearing the necklace I made for her with the pendant on :-)

  • Evening all!
Been quite busy today! Ordered my wholesale stuff I wanted and bonus, they e-mailed me a 15% off discount code before I did! So glad I stalled now! (please turn that one green hales thanks)

I had my 2nd sale on Amazon which is encouraging, love turning my e-mail on to find Sold e-mails. :j

Bidded and won three bulk lots of car boot stuff close to me which I'm picking up tomorrow. There's some lego bits, I might ask for advice if that's ok, my brood are too young for lego so don't know much about the different types, had a quick look on ebay first obviously, think there's re-sale in it! Some will go on ebay and some to car boot.

Also bought some more new stuff in a local shop heavily discounted to put on ebay again, I am constantly looking at sale stuff / closing down sales and am scouring the local paper for jumble sales! Think I'm addicted but I'm having fun and making money so all is good!

Re: benefits thing, drives me mad, in my previous life I was a support worker for tenants with mental health problems that was effecting their housing, I had one guy in particular who milked it for all it was worth, DLA, Incap, HB, CTB, used to drive me mad, I know they've tighten up now would be interesting to know how he is! I had another lady who went from IS to working and was worse off because she lost her benefits, where's the sense, tax credits are crap! Anyway, thats my two pence worth for today, off for marmite on toast now! :)
Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

Saucy, I've done a masters degree by distance learning and it is hard going, but certainly possible. I was working full time (not self-employed), but didn't have the kid then. I was aiming to do it in 3 years, but took a break when my dad died as I was all over the place for a while (real daddy's girl) and did it in more like 4 I think. I'd say go for it, honestly, especially if you can get funding. Your OH is going to have to be seriously supportive, though, as there were times when DH had to make shift for himself for long periods if I had an exam coming up. My employer funded that degree. Actually I changed employer part-way through and was really lucky that my new employer agreed to continue to fund it.

Going to have a bath and go to bed I think as I'm nodding here. Will hopefully be more communicative next week when I'm off. Aiming to get more stock made too.
