Hi All.
Found a great website called the invoice machine - you can create invoice and the great thing is that you can also time yourself so you can check that you are billing accurately.
You can pay for a premium option, but the free option is pretty good too!

I'm losing all will.
Because oh works on shifts, we have erratic hours and having got up earlier, no hope of going back to bed, but feeling too sleepy to bother doing anything, argh! I need motivation lol, I want the sun back!
I also have a load of Tesco tickets, 2 for 1 dinners and entry into theme parks etc. They have no name on, so presume anyone could use them, just pm me if you want them. They are valid 'til the 31/03 and I'm certainly not going to have enough free time and energy to do any of them!

Feeling a bit down today - not really sure where to go with the challenge at the moment as I just seem to end up spending money rather than making it. Also, I end up spending most of time doing 'research' on the internet.
research is good....
Like Paula said, what are your thoughts on the challenge? Have you got any plans/ideas in place??
Pandora - Ebay them!! Even if you only get a couple of quid for them, it helps the old feedback/DSR's!!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -

What honestly helped me was starting with the smaller stuff first. Ebaying as a start was a good way of me getting rid of junk, and getting into the habit of thinking strategically about what works in terms of buying and selling. I also find it is good for building discipline as you don't want to let people down and you want good feedback.
If you have a good plan now then go with it, I am the queen of amazing fantastic ideas and I tend to jump from one project to another. I always have lots of ideas but they don't always come to fruition. I found that keeping a notebook and jotting down ideas is better as I can always come back to them later.
Also, this thread has been AMAZING for me as there are experts on everything so every time I have been unsure what to do, someone has zoomed in and given me the answer that I needed.
Also, I learned to get away from the net as I have had the same issues with research and get so caught up in going from website to website that I end up confusing myself or come up with a brand new idea based on something that I have seen while surfing.
Don't get down - everyone is here to help! So share and I am sure that we can all pull together and help you out10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

This is good advice. I have tonnes of plans and ideas, but transeferring them into a good oppurtunnity is another!.
As ive said before im looking into the t shirt sales, but like you say its probably best to sell your old stuff first to get into the habit, which im going to do with the old speedway stuff. Im off next week so hopefully i will start making profit!
Regards the t shirts again, ive seen some on ebay just selling 'plain' t shirts. Now ive researched a few t shirt selling companys and depending on the quality (i would get good t shirts, not cheapr crappy ones!) and amount you actually buy, you can get some that work out under a quid. So the thing is i wonder if you can make money just selling plain clothing?.
Take this seller for example , admittely he must have built his 'shop' up to sell many different items, and has good feedback, but its not really a glitz and glamour site but he seems to sell so thats something else ive been looking into.
Any thoughts are much appreciated, i am taking all peoples thoughts into consideration.

They are notorious for going abroad, apparently they don't do clothes like us, especially next, sold a bundle of 3-6 girls clothes for £56 because I was willing to post them to Spain.
I had to send the box surface mail and it took ages, the lady was pleased when they arrived though
Another went to Italy and cost the lady £50 postage which she was happy to pay
I got really good prices for my items I think £70 and£60 it was a few years back
Got loads of kids stuff to sort and list
Its well worth selling international especially if you have nice stuff eg next
The buyers will usually be ok about shipping costs
Im quite lucky my local PO will give me quotes if I take parcel down0 -

If you look at his completed sales he seems to be selling quite a few polo shirts @ £3.87 + postage and a few packs of 6 t-shirts for £4.99, maybe you could sell polo shirts as well?Sell £1000 in 2016 - £12.48/£1000

Munchki - hope all is going really well today!!
Saucy - same for you, I seem to remember you had high hopes for today!
Paula - American research lol - he def. has an imagination :rotfl: Can you send me an item number for your shoes would love to see them and compare...especially as mine didnt sell so I obviously did something wrong!
As far as the debt is concerned, can you talk to someone directly - you may be able to set a more realistic amount sooner rather than wait for the credit agency. In my experience they just like to be kept informed and know when they are getting some money. Don't stress over it - just a waste of energy! (I know easier said than done!)
Dillidali - you caught me on a good day, and I was glad to help!! If you want to run through ideas please feel free to pm me! Sometimes an extra pair of eyes can help! (Mine are pretty tired too though LoL!)
Right have a good day all - mine is going to be fairly unproductive but I WILL list on ebay this evening.
OO I do need some advice from ebay experts: I have packaged up all my pre-scored card blanks into packs of 10 with envelopes and inserts - various sizes/colours etc. I now have a total of 55 packs of 10, 1 pack of 8 and two packs of 100 and thats not including all the mismatched stuff (mainly envelopes) wtill under my bed . How am I best to list? Some of them I have 8 the same others I only have one the same...do I say more available? can't do buyitnow I don't think as only got 7 feedbacks (but all good!) Or just list 1 of each individually offering more if required and drip feed as needed? I am a bit stuck as to what to do for the best. Also how long to list for..., and do I start at 99p or pay the listing fee for a bit more??? decisions decisions!! Any advice welcome.
Hope everyone is having a good day!!Life is a work in progress0 -

Wayne - I think you have found a great idea - you could offer printed and non-printed t-shirts. I previously have looked at buying some t-shirts to print myself for a childrens party but as I could only find them at bulk buys I didn't do it. If I could have brought a few at £1.35 then I prbably would.... would you do childrens, women and men? Could you offer to do printing for people too? e.g. personalised for hen nights etc
Sorry thinking out loud...can be dangerous.
Good find/idea!Life is a work in progress0 -
