Money, you will be fine, and a great single mum. Just look at the positive - you'll have one less problem to deal with
Seriously, I don't know the ins and outs of the situation, but if a relationship isn't working, you're better off on your own.

Nothing at all done today, as I expected since I was working, but I was kind of hoping to sneak in some crochet
I'm keen to be up and at it tomorrow - gut out first to find goodies to list on eBay, and I've got bundles of cd's so maybe need to consider the best place to sell them off. I expect that little lot to take all morning and maybe into the afternoon, so then off to the charity shops ... which I LOVE!
Alyssa glad to hear your good news - MMTWGR I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time honey, but Amber's right, sometimes life works out easier if you're on your own, I found that out after far too many years of sticking it out. If life didn't kick us up the backside now and then, we wouldn't appreciate the truly wonderful things we're all blessed with - hugs to you and all those in need of a cuddle!
Now, if I'm going to get on with stuff tomorrow, I guess I should hit the hay! Night all.

Can someone tell me how to make leaflets please. I started ironing business to do in my spare time and so far I've only advertised on gumtree. To get the business of the ground I need to make leaflets to put in shop windows and for door to door advertising but I don't know how to. Can someone tell me what to do? How many leaflets to make to start?
Thank you so much.
p.s. I have Open Office.
p.p.s. I have sold two books and 1 DVD on Amazon so far (need to update my sig). I have taken advice from someone on here and didn't put it up for cheapest price but made sure it was on the first page so say 10th cheapest. They were all in Like new condition.Official DFW Member no:4100 -

MMTWGR, by the sounds of it you will be absolutely fine, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. You've been amazing on here and it sounds like you're a great mum; just wish we were all a bit nearer to come and help out a bit! Big massive hugs to you and hope you feel OK this morning, not nice having to be up with the kids when you've had a drink the night before! xx xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

How many leaflets is going to depend on how many you want to distribute. I would make them half the size of A4 that way at least 2 to a sheet of paper. There is an editing programme in Open Office that is really easy to use. if you are really stuck and if you know what you want to say, I would be happy to set it out and type it up and email it to you and all you would have to do is print it.
Ironing business, wish you were closer as I hate to iron lol!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
I haven't posted on here for ages!
I'm still Ebaying my clutter, and a few things I've bought to sell on, things are selling quite well but that won't get me to my target. I'm also looking at a few more ideas, exploring Etsy and Folksy and blogging. I'm trying to focus on one thing each month, January was getting started on Ebay and sorting out my junk, February is selling it all really intensively and trying a few ideas for Etsy / Folksy.
I don't really mind if I don't reach the £10000, my current aim is to make more each month than the last! Anything I do make is a bonus.0 -

Morning all and happy weekend everyone. I have just over a week off now so no excuse for being productive. I had some great design ideas last night as I was dropping off to sleep and miraculously remembered them this morning so wrote them down.
I will need to think of some more commitments and post them later for Hales as I have done my others though they were a bit easy to complete.
MMTWGA - I hope you're ok this morning and your head is OK. We're all here if you need to chat.
Paulabear - That cd rack is great, no idea on pricing though sorry, but you could go with cost of materials x 2 + your hourly rate (x how long it took you to make) + 30% for overheads. See what price that gives you.0
