Oooh I wish I had some Baileys! Shell, take no notice of the OH if he's so negative, you can just do it quietly; that's how I do a lot of things around mine, I don't actually lie to him but I'm devious in how I present things and I don't tell him everything lol! I've finished my 'thing'; it's the first thing I'll put on Folksy when I start my shop up (woo!). Hopefully now posting a pic...I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

...it's a 'shabby chic' reclaimed CD rack I found for 99p in a charity shop. I've decoupaged it with beauty-related clippings from originsl 1960-62 magazines, varnished it, and put it back together. Please be honest - do you think I can sell this? And if so, roughly how much for? I'm completely lost!I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

I honestly quite like that and it would have been perfect a couple of years ago when I did hampers for young females lol. I filled them with all kinds of pampering and bath items and little candles etc. this would have been perfect and different!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. Yeah exactly what can he do
I hope you do really well with it anyway! And you will have everyone's support on here.
I thought it could be a toiletries holder, maybe for Soap and Glory stuff, it's like their packaging only using actual original adverts and stuff, some of which are quite funny - 'keep yourself young for your husband' lolI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
I love it, it's brilliant! Did it take you long? I think it'll sell really well. Make sure you include the dates of the newspapers (just briefly like you just did) so people know there is no copyright issue, and don't underprice yourself.
You've inspired me to get my !!! into gear, haha!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
