After the course of today *YUCK* I have spent most of the rest of it, researching free advertising, signing up for some that were actually viable, picked apart what I want, what I want to do, now working on how the heck I am going to get there and the hardest thing for me to do always is to ask for help, but am slowly learning it is ok to ask for help when you need it.

There is money in selling books online, but in my experience not a lot. I've been selling my own books and I'm only making pennies on each one. Postage and packing is expensive as people want books in good condition, no creases, bumps or marks. I don't have a car so can't do boot sales - I think I'd get a better return at car boots than online. It would be faster turnover too. Tommy McN, if you can get books for pennies, I'd go for it. Moneymabel - good advert, though rather a lot of words so I would cut this to Cally's suggestion, with tiny changes to have snappy sentences. My suggestion would be:

I would change "The perfect gift for any occasion - or just to treat yourself" The 'or just to treat yourself' doesn't come across as "because you're worth it" (though I appreciate that byline has been taken

That is the business cards/postcards sorted now I just need the additional blurb for the website to add on the bottom of that about how each piece is one -off not to be repeated and who it would be suitable for gifts,birthdays, honeymoon etc etc and the bit about treating yourself to it without sounding like what i've just written lol!!

Well.........now that you are asking lol.....kidding of course.

In all seriousness tho, I am generally very good at writing CV and letters etc, however I think it is true what they say that it is harder to write for or about yourself when it really matters. I think over all I have a good CV but have quickly learned from the constant comments from agency's etc that I am over qualified for the jobs that I am going for, and they dont seem to understand that I really do want a simpler life! Anyway, i have spent days trying to make additional versions of my cv, need one more for sales and the other for admin, but they need to be *dumbed* down for lack of a better word, i.e. I need to play down what I can do and even I suppose omit it. I have been trying to do this for weeks and just cant seem to do it for myself.......anyone interested.

God I feel like a leech at the moment asking for all of this help all of a sudden! please forgive me This is what happens when I finally decide to pull out every stop I can think of as I have not stopped since 11am this morning!
