I may do. Although I wouldn't have a clue what to write...I can dribble for England, but writing people actually want to read? No chance, lol!
I've been blogging for a while now and it seems people read blogs because they want a problem solved, or they want to read about how you solved a problem and then they can identify with that - or perhaps they want tips of some kind, jokes, to be cheered up, or they want specific kinds of recipes etc.
Think of Julie & Julia - or whatever the film was called! The girl lived in Paris and kept a daily blog going about how she tried French recipes from Julia's book every day - how they turned out - the problems, the successes etc - she got a book and a film deal!
    How good would that be??????????????

oh well, back to sending more cv's out

((hug)) So sorry your news wasn't better Munchki - I'm a big believer in the fates, just imagine that it wouldn't have turned how you expected and that something bigger and better is lurking around a corner just waiting to find you. Easy for me to say than for you to believe, I know, but keep your chin up, I know that hanging out in this thread will help you stay positive.

I want to do it. I think my family might moan though. I do think that hair and beauty would be something I could make a decent business from.

The other thing, this information evening is compulsary if I want an interveiw. It falls on a college night .

  • Their loss, Muncki - maybe something better is in the pipeline?

Re the crushed food thing - I believe there is a niche market for videos of women crushing food with their heels (and worse, but I won't go into that), but I've never heard of anyone actually buying crushed food - in a word, just block before he bids, I've been doing this long enough to spot a timewaster when I see one.

Hi :-) Rosie is 3 now- we got her from a farm ( very long story involving the RSPCA but all is ok now) she is mad as a box of frogs but such a clever dog.
I can't work out how to post photos but if you want to add me on Facebook- my name is Tracey Phillips and my profile photo is Rosie ( coz she's better looking than me!)
Wow 13 is a good age bless her! Hope the arthritis isn't too bad.
