  • That sucks, Money.
    I placed an order last night, it charged me, then the company phoned this morning to say they could see I'd paid but had no idea what for.
    You can't take a week out!! I'd miss you too much!

  • My OH ate 62 easter eggs last year. He can't help but grab a few when we are in there, and we go a few times a week...I can't believe he's as skinny as he is. He never puts on weight..

    Completely irrelevant, sorry!

    Go and post your dribble on the other thread ... :rotfl:
  • aaah thank you x

    I noticed today I have 2 bread bins on the worktop - I have no idea why as I dont use either.

    I bought an Actifry for £120 and I took it out of the box and have never even plugged it in.

    I have 2 boxes of things I bought for 2 businesses and I have never used them

    The worse thing is I have some wicker duck baskets that I used for Easter baskets last year - the plan was to sell the excess ducks by June - I have just found them in a box. And its not too long until this Easter ! Nearly a whole year.

    I need to sort it all out. The whole house is like it. And the clutter is cluttering my mind to be honest.

    I need a therapeutic throwing out week I think - a mental spring clean if you like :T

  • Good plan nikki - I am impressed !

    I was going to tax the car but cant find the reminder slip or the log book :mad: Only had both about 10 days ago so cant for the life of me work out where it is - have any of you seen it ????

    I was going to complete CB forms, but I cant find these either

    Forms on top of bookshelf or unit, ask OH about the car stuff.

    If I am completely wrong, then I will assume that my psychic talents do not cover lost & found - which could explain why I can never find the 1001 things I'm always looking for :rotfl:

  • Well I didn't get as much done as I wanted, and my OH managed to explode curry all over the kitchen, then break the microwave, then go play on his Xbox, so I won't get an early night as I now need to clean up.
    I'm feeling stressed, and hoping my supplies come tomorrow to cheer me up. Some of them, at least.
    MSN refused to work tonight so I couldn't talk to anyone :(

    No one go anywhere, this is my surrogate family :)
    Off to don the rubber gloves...Night all x

    jane - did you use the online supermarket checker? I think you put in your ideal shop and it works out which shop would be the cheapest to go to.

    I will try and dig out the link

    might be just me but if you use the supermarket checker then go through to order for delivery watch out that all your items have transferred, a lot of mine didn't for some reason, can't happen too often or people wouldn't use them I guess :)

    Got up this morning to a text from the girl off freecycle saying she had stood at my door last night freezing and loaded down with shopping waiting to get a baby seat from me - I would have been struggling home through the ice with the broken buggy and and two kids that kept falling over, bad day for both of us I think! :o Not feeling very motivated today although I have had an idea for a website I could set up.

    COMMITMENTS FOR THE WEEK;

    -list my Ebay pile!
    -make three objects that are saleable
    -start setting up a website
    -sort out OH's craft/jewellery items and photograph
    -sort out running totals and write down!!

    FIND OUT ABOUT THIS MONTH;
    -matched betting :eek:

    Thank you very much :j

    Can I just ask, do you think I could sell our big stash of reusable nappies (all of which have been used but have been boil-washed) on mums.net or somewhere? Or do you think they'd have to be new? Have seen some on Ebay but they're all new in packets. We got them for DD1 two years ago and they were SO expensive but I hate them so ended up guiltily buying disposables again:o

    I declare £420.75 for January, which I'm really pleased with. (Clicks/O/T/ebay/cleaning job/mystery shopping/store cupboard challenge)

    That is not including a £140.00 payout this month, from Quidco, for changing energy supplier, or £100.00 from A&L for changing bank account, as I'd already counted these payments, on validation in December.

    I've done weekly paper deliveries with DS, and it averaged out about £7.50 per hour, all of which he pocketed. It was with Johnston Press, who deliver local papers throughout the country. If you ring them they will give you details of local agents.
