Zoe and Paula-thankyou for the forum idea-i do lurk about a bit but so many of them have rules about not advertising I dont want to offend anyone! Please feel free to be me anytime you want...will warn you though...it sucks!! lol
Munchki - random idea I had in the middle of the night..what about helping people research their family trees? would tie in with your helpfulness and interest in history, you could charge hourly perhaps? I know a lot of people that are interested in doing this but go back a few generations and get stuck or dont have internet access to find out info? probably a dumb idea but it was 4 am!
I am going to update my blog today I promise :-)0 -

Morning.
Five subsections - if you can think of another then let me know.
1) Matched Betting. This will involve researching it, possibly joining betmunch's google group and using their website, exploring all offers, and placing as many bets as you feel comfortable with, all in the knowledge that there will be other newbies alongside you who you can chat with.
2) Surveys and daily clicks. This will involve joining up the surveys sites, possibly one a day and then exploring the website and getting to know how you get the surveys. Also daily clicks - how, what , why. And Dooyoo reviews. I have a list of 15 websites that do surveys and I am sure there are more.

3) Mystery shopping. Dont pay for the info, its all on here. We can sign up for all mystery shopping sites, possibly one a day again, find out how you get assignments, best ones to go for, where forum is on MSE to pick up hints and tips. Even people doing MS might be able to expand the companies they work for
4) Blogging - what is it, how to start, what to talk about, how often to update, how to make money etc...
5) Bingo - Bingo britain, free sites etc. Best ones to join, minimum deposits, withdrawal terms, offers etc...
The idea is that the main projects will be the breadwinners. Matched betting may well come a close second ! The other things are the sort of things that will provide a good smaller return over the 11 months left, but the sort of things we all say we are going to do but find it hard to make time or get excited about. As someone said earlier, to make this target we will need to be doing lots of different things and even £1 made will help in the long run.
Who wants to join which group for February? I think I may start with daily cliks/surveys etc.. because the sound of it bores me to tears but I like the idea of vouchers etc.. for Xmas presents.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
Airpods repayment £249 £185 £75.90 PAID
Airpods repayment £144 £99.01 PAID
Capital One £14000 -
Ok today I am going to concentrate on getting more readers for my wedding blog. I will start to find other blogs similar and start commenting etc.
I am also going to work on my website, that I am thinking of changing slightly.
Plus then my jewellery website needs more work (not set up yet, still at the ideas stage so far)0 -

So I cant update the links from joeygrey, or put the current totals on the first post.
What shall I take out of the first post ? I tried a combination of things but it still said I was 300 characters over, and we havent had the majority of end of month totals yet !
Hi MMTWGR,
Somewhere along the lines i missed the message about PM'ing you totals so mine is £175.86but its not even over £200 so i'll happily warm up the bottom rungs of the ladder... You wait all you lofty £700 and £1k people - I'll perch my bum up on that rung with you someday!!
My suggestion is and this might not help for this post (Thread Part 3)
but will be very handy for "£100 to £10k Thread Part 4"
When you start the opening post (if you still want to lead it) start the thread and then quickly post one word on post 1
go out and effectively Reserve posts 2 3 and 4 (as an example) then as the thread goes on you've always got space to update the Front Page. Hth!!
Also just wanted to say a huge well done for Susie on your total -its super duper and no your post wasn't disheartening!! Want to say a huge thanks to MMTWGR and Hales and Joeygrey and anyone else who does admin/updating/listing for us all! Its so time consuming i'm sure so well done for stepping up and sorting it for the rest of us .
Also after you have all read "Think and Grow Rich" go and buy "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George S Clason. I know i mentioned it aaaages ago in Thread 1 but it really is a brill book. One of the most important concepts of this is to always pay yourself first before you pay anyone else. Robert Kiyosaki teaches this concept as well in his Rich Dad Poor Dad books.
The idea being we earn our income, then pay the mortgage company, the landlord, the bank and credit card companies etc etc then we have a big fat zero for our selves. So both books teach that if you pay yourself first (Clason recommends 10% of your income) and keep that money separate and then use it to work for you and to earn you more money - via investing, trading (much like we are doing), then eventually you will have wealth. Those who pay others first are poor, those who pay themselves first become rich. Simply yet fascinating... and very very difficult to put into practice!! His writing style really is much better than mine and its a small book so won't cost you much in outlay - but will contribute a lot to your earnings! Plus, we can never put a cost on our own personal development - the more we learn the more we earn and the wiser we get with our finances!
Btw, no i don't work for the company that publishes it lolJust love the book!! It's one of those that i picked up and can honestly say changed my whole outlook on my spending, earning (or lack of) and debt.
I know my post is getting long, but I saw shakeys post and don't think I've done one of those and introduced myself properly!! So here goes ..
I'm 30 years youngwith one little boy who is the centre of my world. OH and me in debt up to our eyeballs due to bad money management in the past, expensive wedding 7 years ago (we're still paying for?!?!?! goddamn). We really were guilty of the "buy it now, pay later" syndrome. eek
No official job atm, but am a qualified accountant but finding it horrendously difficult to get back into the workplace after being out of work for 3 odd years and especially as I can only go back as Part time atm.
However, for the past 2 years (yes its a long time I know) i've been investing in myself . Been reading a lot of Personal development books, learning what I shouldn't do with money and how to let money work for me instead of the other way around! As a result I have a huge list of the business ventures I want to run and the empire i want to build (LOL) (at some point before i'm dead in my grave hehehehhe)
I joined a network marketing company last year in the summer, and am doing this part time to help tick some money in each month . I know i know i know that many people on here don't like these companies and its not everyones cup of tea, hourses for coursesSome people prefer avon, partylite, virgin vie, the body shop, betterware, amway etc etc Personally I did my research thoroughly and they have been running for 11 years so i'm happy with them and what i've achieved so far from them - takes a lot of work though. As long as people resarch, do their due diligence and know what is expected of them to get a return then its easy to figure out what will work and what won't.
hmm have i bored you all yet!?!?!??!
I seriously can go on and on and on but I guess i'll shut up - I bet I have another 20 pages to catch up on while I was writing that essay!!!!!!!
well done you lot can't wait for february totals... i need to get up that ladder!! (competitive me?!!? no - just determined!!!)
