    I've been Money Tipped!
Anyone know where I can buy 3d box frames cheaply? They're the sort of thing you can put dried flowers, keepsakes that sort of thing in. Ikea don't seem to do them anymore and ebay isn't great as the postage is too high.

    Any ideas appreciated.

(This is for a money-making idea, by the way)

I'm counting bonus' and overtime, I don't think there are any rules which makes it a great challenge. Helps me to get brownie points at work too. :T
Thank you Rachel I have updated my totals and its looking good, moving the money from the gas and elec savings into the same challenge account so all has gone well for Jan.

Ideas for Feb, I scrap in my spare time so set up a blog and offering to do some for friends for small charge.
Have referred some friends to another friend who does sports massage and received free massage and asked if happy to continue do that. I know its not cash but its money I'm not spending on my massage ( needed for running races) so can use the cash to buy stock etc. Trying to think out the box really.
Kez12 intends to have a frugal 2012 and bust that debt:j there's certainly plenty of it!

The Range do them. Also Wilkinsons used to sell them. Different prices for different sizes. I bought a 12 x 12 from Wilkinson. I do scrapbooking and they are perfect for this.

edited to add: forgot to mention the 12 x 12 frame I got for 4.99.

Have you tried Dunelm Mill? Got a feeling I've seen them in there - but not been for a while so don't know if they still have them.

Did you know that 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy?!
  • I know its only my second post, but this is my first update since asking to join the challenge.

Although im not doing as well as some others, I pleased so far :) In January I have just been selling items which I have been clearing from the bedroom and loft, (and there is still more to go)!

Last month my total is £207.79, which is £107.79 profit on top of my original £100.

I have also bought about £40 worth of stock, which I have still to sell and hope to make about £25 profit.

Just a tip I will share (albeit a small one), I have saved a small amount on the postage by using old jiffy bags from orders we have received at work. These are usually thrown out, and so I was allowed to have them, and even if ripped, its nothing some brown packaging tape can't fix :)

Anyway, thanks again for the thread bingo, and Im liking the new look, saves having to sit through 10+ pages everyday once I have got home from work lol

    Hello,

I have just updated my signature...

Seems to have been a bit slow over the last few weeks but I am very happy with my progress so far! Had a little bit from ebay, bingo and cashback so every little helps!

I still have stuff on ebay so hope to sell some more things over the weekend!

Hope everyone is still feeling motivated!

Hi, just updating my sig for the end of January too, albeit a bit late! I'm finding most of my money is coming from overtime and less spending. Also surveys like Pureprofile and opinion health.

    Loving this challenge.....:)

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but if you switch to an HSBC current account before 14 Feb they are giving you 100.00
