Wikipedia says "some parts of Northern Ireland, ring doughnuts are referred to as "gravy rings" due to their being cooked in oil, itself colloquially known as "gravy"."

I thought they tasted good until someone (:p) mentioned gravy... now they seem _pale_

A saveloy is a red smoked sausage kind of thing that you get from the chippy... Very nice once in a while...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • well I've never heard of oil being called gravy !! Maybe its an old thing, or a country thing !! Our country folk have some strange names for things !! (and BTW I'm allowed to say that, my mums whole family are proper country folk and are suitably all weird and hard to understand !!)

I'm off to bed too if anyone is about.

I've got 79 items listed on ebay (not all tonight!). Four more of V's stuff to do, but I can't keep my eyes open anymore.

    Night all.

Weezl If you visit in the night, or first thing, as you do :D, did you see MFD ask if Fergus might want the MSE PT musical happy birthday bib before Benjamin has it? If he does, pass my fairies your details. ;)

ETA: Not in the near future Elle. OH is in training full time until end of September, so can't book any time off until after then, when he's gone onto the job proper. :(

Keely, I could see it in the flesh (so to speak) if you want to do something next week?

    We'll arrange something :)
