Hi - haven't caught up yet will try now.

Just rang the docs to ask for advice on Amber's lack of poo as it's v.unusual for her, and her nappy wasn't very wet this morning either.

I said how long do the docs prefer to wait until they want you to worry. She LAUGHED and said duh i'd be worrying now.

Ok moron. Jeez. No need to patronise. I'm sure i've read others on here aless/weezl? had said to give it a week or so? Can't believe she laughed at me. I'm gonna poke her face when we go there this aftenoon.

Why does everything go tits up on a Friday?
Need to arrange shipment of an order to get to Portugal by next Friday.
But if the stooopid customer keeps ignoring me and won't give me the delivery address, how am i supposed to arrange? Apparently not so urgent, urgent delivery needed, and the shop floor have worked their backsides off for no reason, and we won't be upholding the penalty clause for late delivery.......

Sorry work related rant. Best friend and colleague is off today and no-one to rant to in RL.

Beenie - well I gave it over a week as anecdotal plus internet advice said anything around a week between poos for BF-baby could be normal (and he had loads of wet nappies). Is she doing farts? Apparently that's important as if she IS then everything prolly okay she's just holding things in - if she's not, then it could be a blockage which is more serious.

(punch the doctor for being a moron...since Monday isn't even that long! no need to make you panic!)

you've reminded me we're due another poopspolsion anytime now as it's been a few days, ack!

How many photos do you all take on average?
We took about 4000 photos the first year, about 2000 the second and about 1000 in the last nine months. Obviously not all the photos are of Alice but mostly they are. (Also that does include video clips because I just looked at the numbers the camera gives as file names.)

Beenie - I wouldn't be concerned with a lack of a dirty nappy, but would be about a wet nappy. Toby went 16 hours without a wet nappy when poorly, so I took him to the doctors. Is she unwell?

  • So many gorgeous pics! I cannot resist sharing a picture of my little chunk:

Feelie- We have hundreds of photos of Henry, mostly OH's doing as he loves photography. The above blurry offering is mine though!

We 've just got back from swimming. It was great. The pool was really warm and Henry seemed to really enjoy himself. I think we're going to make it a weekly friend with a Mummy friend and her LO.

Aless worst thing is it was a blinking receptionist not a doctor.

Nappies have been wet til last night, she seems ok though apart from a bit uncomfortable, colic-style, not hot or cold, still feeding the same.

    She's farting for england too.

    Loving the new avvies

We went to Costa Coffee. Hot Chocolate and Bacon Toastie. Yummy!
Expensive but treat to myself as it was payday.

Oh and SS. My brain keeps wondering how you actually do all this. You work, breastfeed, do housework, sort out mountains of stuff all day long? Have a million lists you actually cross things out on? How? workinmummy is in awe.........................

I'm lucky enough that most of the time I get to work from home, and since my job is research I have tasks to complete for a day rather than hours to put in IYSWIM. So when my stuff is done I can concentrate on other stuff - the flip side is the days when I spend 16 hours on work, but those are less frequent than my 5-6 hour days. I can work/play with the internet/other stuff while feeding Molly and she's such an easygoing baby that transporting her around the apartment while I fold laundry/declutter and such is super easy. Oh, and OH makes and shops for all food, and we have a cleaner who does the floors and bathroom, which is what takes the most time.

    FIRE!!!

Feelie, Molly seems to be wildly attracted to Toby :rotfl: very cute.

Also, if anyone does reviews on Qype, they've just emailed me to say that if you're a Qype Ninja and you write 28 reviews in February you get a £25 spa voucher.
