Aww thanks
I'm not though, have just been lucky with having such a placid boy for my first - got a feeling Amber is going to be harder work though!!
Also if i'd been with a (supportive) OH from the start i might have missed it more, but i actually quietly hated it if my ex ever disciplined DS because i felt defensive of my boy, although i would always back him up. I spose you don't miss what you've never had, ex was only like a 'proper' OH for 6 months or so (as in, a live in part of the family, despite 3 years together and a 1yr living together), but in nearly 7 years that's insignificant.
Think i better get to bed, i was in my pit being lazy til half 10 today cos Amber went back to sleep when feeding at 8am, and i need to be up early for the magician at Surestart. /yawn.0 -
Oh i wanted to rant about Barclaycard actually, forgot. They swiped £120 from my bank account for my debt. My own fault for not sorting it but i HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rang them up kicking off.
BC: If you fax us your rent/utility bills to prove you need the money we might be able to give some back
Me: Umm. I need the money to feed myself and my kids, plus i've just had a baby and she needs MILK (lie). How do i prove that then, should i send you a photo of us all rubbing our stomachs?
BC: You can send a letter from the hospital
Me: What, to prove we need to eat? Erm..
BC: Okay send the birth certificates of the children.
Me: Um. And how does that prove i need the money back?
BC: I don't know. Thank you please bai.
 !!!!!!? They won't accept that, they accept bills to be paid, i.e outstanding rent or gas account. I don't have these because i've paid them, but the money i have left is to live on throughout March. Still, i knew they'd do it eventually, i just didn't act soon enough.0 -
LOL and !!!!!! at the phone call Beenie.
I actually find it easier running the house/dealing with Keira/being more organised, when OH is away, because I have too, and also he is like another child to look after.
You can have my OH beenie, he can't put a plate away and expects you to bite off his foosty toenails!
!!!!!! Keira is still not asleep, and she is now lying on the kitchen floor watching the cat eat raw chicken livers, if she gets any closer to the bowl she'll have liver eyeballs0 -
LOL what's she doing up? I'm bad for letting my DS stay up late in the hols, cos then he'll sleep later in the morn but it makes life so much harder when it's time to go back. Every Friday he declares he's playing on the Wii til midnight "cus its a day off".
Eww i don't do toes u can keep him :rotfl:0 -
Well she has gotten a bad cold, so she fell asleep at 8 and then woke up at 11ish crying because she couldn't breathe and is now wide awake!! Ah well, long lie for me
She keeps sneezing in her hand and then playing with the snot, it's making me wanna barf!!
Hey, Friday is a day off! LOL, sounds like he has it all worked out.
I love toenails!0 -
Well at least she's not rubbing it on the walls. A girl from my school used to do that and i went round once and her wall next to her bed was covered in dried up snot and bogies. Dirty bint. _pale_
Toes are minging unless they're younger than about 3
Am in bed now and it's silent, looks like the council woman's been today, i don't get it. They obv know they're in the wrong cos they are quiet when she's been so why not stay that way. Sweaty goons.0 -
What do they do at night beenie? Play music?
See I'm on the other side where my neighbours hate me, but they are deffo wrong because you can't reasonably expect a 3 year old not to make ANY noise during the day. Should just turn their flipping telly up.
Thing is, It's not just Keira, the people who lived in this flat before me, left because them below kept reporting them about their 2year olds EXCESSIVE NOISE!
Not my fault the building is made of paper mache!
My uncle used to wipe his bogeys on the wall next to his bed too, except his were always bloody bogeys, his wall was spotted red and black....

Weezl Totally off subject but is Mr Weezl about? L has been down crying with a sore mouth - not toothache, more throbby pain. She showed me where it hurts. Its the one behind the fang where she still has a baby tooth, and there is a big tooth growing in front of it!
If we go to the dentist, will he whip out the baby tooth?, or leave it to come out on its own. It doesn't feel wobbly.
if it's only just erupted he'd probably leave it because studies show that teeth are better coming out naturally by being displaced by the movements of the baby tooth. Dentists removing it will cause possible problems in the mouth (although miniscule and rare!) whereas naturally won't cause any trauma. Does that make sense?
Brufen not paracetamol best for dental pain as it is almost always an inflammation pain response

Were you scanned to confirm the breech? If not, did you feel him turn round? Or do you think they just made a mistake?
I don't know...With Christopher I was scanned when admitted to hospital to check growth (pre eclampsia) and had been told he was breech the past few times I had been checked but as I was under 33 weeks there was time for him to burl back round so nobody was worried, but in the scan he was face down, !!! up
I can't really comment, never having been in the same position. How would you feel about delivering a breech baby at home? Doing it all so non-medical is weird to me! :rotfl:
well, with fergie, she could see/feel his head from 1st exam at 4cm, so I was kinda thinking there'd be plenty of time to get me in if it turned out she was looking at a bottom!
I know there are good stories of home deliveries of undiagnosed breech.... Hmmmn will think further.
In a HB situation I am 16 mins from call to hospital. Cord prolapse is the only crash section in which there would need to have been quicker response, as far as I understand things
