Where does she get these things from? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No idea! We were in the woods and she'd ran off ahead chasing the dogs and then came running back to tell me that. There were no sheep or blinds in sight!
Here I go again on my own....

I just told Alice to go to bed and she burst into tears. Turns out she thought I was telling her to go to bed in her clothes and that was what was so upsetting. *confused smiley*

oh that reminds me, Has anyone had trouble/success returning faulty stuff to next?
I got some jeans around Christmas, lost the packing note but it's on my statement that I got them 21st dec, I've worn them about 10 times and they've ripped on the bum  and another pair the stitching has come undone at the crotch, I'm worried they'll be funny with me :undecided not sure if I should take them back to 2 diff stores?:o
We got some dresses for Alice and one of the hems came down when she'd worn it a few times so we took it back. It was a bout six months old (because we'd bought a larger size than she was) so she had to go off and get authorisation from someone else because it wasn't a current item. Also gave refund card for the same reason. I didn't argue because we'd bought with a gift card but would have if I'd actually paid money for it as they aren't allowed to do that.

I can't understand anyone being jealous of being a size six - it's pants! I don't look paticularly healthy on it, I'm fed up of getting asked if I'm ill and fed up of "just eat more" comments..

Assuming the average is a size 14, noone would say they were jealous of someone who's a size 22 (four sizes the other way of a 14, iyswim) or tell them to "just eat less" with such flippancy, would they?
I think it's more common to be over than underweight, people think it must be nice to be underweight and find it hard to understand having the opposite difficulty.

Has anyone noticed the quality of the way childrens clothes wash from Next? I think it has gone really poor.
Definitely. The second hand Next stuff we have used has all been far superior to anything we got new from Next. The only reason we got new stuff was because we were given a giftcard but based on the quality I certainly wouldn't spend my own money there.
i think that BMI stuff is bullcrap anyway .. everyone is different from more muscule to extra skin after losing weight or child birth which could be classed as weight to the untrained eye x
The main problem with BMI is that instead of being used in conjunction with a range of other measurements/indicators and a bit of common sense it is used as a stand alone diagnostic tool. It might work as a rough guide for the average person but not everyone fits. Because super-atheletes have lots of muscles, they can come up as overweight or obese but looking at them is enough to show that they are not. That little girl apparently is marginally overweight according to BMI but looking at her and taking into account the description of her active lifestyle it is obvious that she is not.

My dad just called me, he got me two trays of eggs. Except I just ordered 15 eggs on my shop and these trays hold over 2 dozen eggs   What am I going to do with over 60 flinging eggs! OH won't eat omelettes!!
Boil some eggs and make mayonnaise - then you can have egg mayonnaise sandwiches.

Have eggs for breakfast: scrambled, boiled, fried or poached.

I'm just watching my download of OBEM from last week and the girl with the baby with his bits on the outside just had her baby. I'm so sad that she didn't get to hold him :(
I thought that was really bad too. I know they had to stabilise him but would giving him to her for like ten seconds really have caused any harm? I also don't understand why they couldn't have designed the rooms where they take babies in that situation so that the mum can go straight there from the CS. I felt so mad/sad when they were telling her she couldn't go down to see him for ages.
ladies what do you do with your old baby clothes?
I have mine stored in boxes by size/gender (currently one box per size for girl's and one box of neutral stuff). I don't intend to not need baby clothes for a very long time so haven't really thought about what to do when I'm finished with them.

It's extremely naughty to throw sheep at the blinds :rotfl:
How naughty is it to throw cows at blinds?

Today we had luch in a cafe with my mum and brother. I took Alice to the toilet and went at the same time and emptied my mooncup. When we went back upstairs, my mum went down and Alice said to my brother, "Mummy went to the toilet and something came out of her bottom." I'm so glad she didn't know it was a mooncup because otherwise she would have actually said it as "something" is just what she says when she doesn't know the word for something.

What do you need cakes for? Fingers are the best vehicle for butter icing consumption. :D

I felt so bad for her, and she was so likeable, too :(Can't I just flop into a wheelchair? Why not?! That shaking happened to me right after the C-section too, it was very scary.

:rotfl: at Alice. But (TMI) I'm desperate for my AF to return because my mooncup has yet to be used and I'm so interested to test it out.

OH commented on the shaking and I said I thought it was quite common. I read a NICE leaflet about CS recently and I think it said something about shaking in it? It also said the table will be tilted at a minimum angle of 15 degrees which I think they said was something to do with blood flow to the uterus. (Edit: I particularly noticed the tilting thing because you and someone else had mentioned feeling like you would fall off.)

I got a post-birth/over age 30 Mooncup before I was pregnant (partly because I had a huge stash of tampons) and then had to wait to use it. I actually ended up giving away my stash to a friend because when I finally tried it I thought the Mooncup was so great. I raved about it every month to OH for the first few months.

... Sami did you see me  yesterday around 9.30am.

Again had a text from OH today, saying Sorry again and he can't take it anymore.
I am so good at the silent treatment, but he's either run out of clean underwear or cash!
I was still in bed :o I thought of you today because we went to mb starbucks :)
I hope your OH realises he needs to use his gob not thumb to say sorry *tut*
