Becles - glad you are happier about your uni course and even happier for you that Craig has helped out a bit round the house. Yay that you're not with the two horrible women.
Buttons - how about some pasta-based dishes. I know you said that OH doesn't like lentils, etc, but how about bulking out the mince with oats? I do it loads and we honestly can't tell that they're in there (either by look or taste). In answer to your question about a reasonable amount, we spent an average of £40 a week on shopping. That includes formula, nappies, wipes, cleaning stuff and toiletries, as well as food. Some weeks I can get by and only spend £15, other weeks I spend £50. Why don't you set yourself the challenge of cooking one new meal a week out of your cookbooks?
Workinmummy - Hope you get the jumperoo sorted. That is one thing that I would like to buy for number 2, as we don't have one for Caitlin and it's a bit late to get one now. Hope you sort things out with OH too.
SM - there is a 10% off Mothercare voucher floating around at the moment. I got one through the post, but they also emailed it to me. Do you want me to forward the email to you?
Claire  hi, long time no speak! Hope you are OK. Looking forward to Reece's Christening? We've got Caitlin's in two weeks too. Well done to Reece for stair-climbing - clever boy! Your nan sounds fab!!! Your ghost sounds scary, poor Charlie. Have you seen it before?
Feelie - our checks are done by HV and are at 8 months. Caitlin has hers on Wednesday. Interesting since she'll be 7.5 months old. Everything else has been done late (six week check at 10.5 weeks, etc!)
Weezl - fab news sweetie! How are you feeling about things in general now?
Jakesmummy - hope Jasmine feels better soon.
MFD - loving the "no more nipples" :rotfl:
Susan - wow, a helicopter in your house! Was it a full-sized one?
MM - hugs for you. I hope work gets better for you soon.0 -

I post on the SAHM thread - I just love having a list that I can cross stuff off. If it's in full view of other people then I feel more inclined to get everything done - otherwise I just put the list in the bin.
See u tomorrow xxA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Talking of lists, I did a SS today and made a list of everything to do today.
I managed to get loads done!! It's so satisfying to cross things off!
Vacuumed the whole house
Dusted C's room, the hall, stairs, landing and the lounge
Baked a cake for the NCT mums coming round tomorrow morning (choc, heart-shaped with pink butter icing)
Prepared dinner
Cleaned the hob
Cleaned the bathroom
Arrange for IFA to come over on Thursday to discuss mortgage options.
Not bad considering my day also consisted of chatting with my friend for two hours who came over to visit this morning, followed by a 90 min visit from SIL and neice.0
