Being treated as if it is DVT until we can prove by a scan on monday that it isn't IYSWIM? Twice daily injections into my bump of a blood thinner til then. One of my ankles is 4 cms fatter than the other one! Nearly had to go into hospital wearing one knee high brown leather boot size 6, and one of DH's trainers, size 11:o

Oh Weezl xx
I know when I was pregnant I had to inject myself twice daily from 20wks to thin my blood so I didn't clot, had to do it until 6wks post birth so I feel for you. Do you have to inject in the bump? I was told anywhere there is a bit of flesh is OK? I mostly injected into my thighs.Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -

Oh Weezl, that must be worrying for you! I too had one ankle fatter than the other, but didnt know the risks and thought it was just from sitting funny until I saw the MW the next week and mentioned it and got a telling off for not getting medical attention for it
symptoms had subsided by then though. What an eye opener as well, cos I thought DVT only happened in people that dont move, like on long flights etc, and you're always rushing around like a rushy thing.
I hope everything goes ok for you xxMummy to

Weezl - hugs for the injections I spent a months injecting myself when I was having my fertility treatment, not pleasant. Vibes that you only need them till Monday and it's only the long walks that are doing it.
GISI - Katie had to wait to start Waterbabies too as they were only just setting up in my area so she was 5 months old before she started.
Where I've been - Katie has been off showing the local town her new pushchair, she absolutely adores it, naughty mummy took her to McD's for lunch, then Aldi and Morries for the weekly shop.
Katie is very happy as she's got her favourite treat - garlic and herb olives.Proud to be dealing with my debts
