I think we're in a similar position, you and me. We had straightforwardish birth experiences, but what's left us with trauma and worry is how we've ended up feeling in ourselves about not BF. I feel it too about Fergie and Kester. We are good mummies though, you and me. Our boys will be well loved by thoughtful, clever, creative giving mummies.:D

Krystal You might win the comp. for most bizarre MIL! I suspect odd-mum down the road has something similar. Her DD is always ill, apparently, although seems really healthy & normal whenever she comes here to play. Its now got to the point where she's trying to claim DLA for DD's bedwetting/nappies at night problem, however when she's been here for a sleepover there is no bedwetting or nappy needed? (I think the DLA claim may also have something to do with Odd-Mum being able to stay on Income Support for longer now the rules have changed :mad:).

Glam hunny - you're a wonderful Mum to a beautiful, happy, healthy little boy. Would the breast-police rather you didn't feed him at all?

Next time there is a meet during the school holidays, i'll bring Liv with me. You can tell me if you can tell she was FF. She's happy, healthy, never been to the doctors, doesn't have asthma, eczema, two heads or any other condition that FF gives you. :mad: Would she be so healthy if i'd tried to b/f her with no milk?

Don't look at the other thread, there are too many idiots on it, and too many posts by someone who isn't known for her tact/interpersonal skills.
It's really angered me that words written down can cause so much hurt to my friends. I'll give you a real hug and a two cheek kiss on Friday.

Glam *hugs* dont get upset and worked up you ARE doing the best for your baby, you put his needs first and your a fabby mummy! All but one of mine have been BF and FF and when i had to give up with Erin it was like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. someone else could help feed, i didnt have to be the onlyone to do it all myself. All the pressure is awful and i wouldnt have thought that giving my baby formula was inferier, i needed to do it and my children are all still healthy and happy(well they are grumpy a lot lol!) At the end of the day you have sone your best and noone expects any mor than that. You know we are all here for you and please dont get upset, every mother has to make desicions and sometimes you dont know if they are right or wrong you just need to go with whats best for you. come on i have 5 and still ask questions as i unsure of things! pm if you wanna chat xxx

should i bring zoe then as well .. ff from day 3 and healthier then me no illness .. no 2 heads although does split personality count .. just goes to prove not everything you read is correct x

Glam- did you see my post about parenting being a big part down to luck (or I suppose fate, if you'd rather)? I try and remember that; it makes me feel less guilty or upset about the bad bits and less smug about the good bits! I think I got my inspiration from that Baz Luhrmann song about sunscreen, but hey it works for me!

I think everyone on here is a fab parent since we care enough to come on here for advice and support!
