    Evening all..

SM, did tara get sorted re paternity leave? Like Sami said, he should have had his application in at 25wks (ie six weeks ago). If he didn't do that, his employers are well within their rights to refuse paternity leave. His simplest option then are annual holiday leave (if he has any available); potential other options but most, if not all, of them are unpaid. Depends how difficult his employer wants to be

And, for the record, I am in no way an HR expert. I'm a former HR Administrator, who knows the procedures from practical experience and when I don't know them I know where to find the information.
  • Evening everyone,

Hugs for poorly OH's, babies and mummies.

SS - Yay for the Insurance but big hugs too.

I'm so glad to hear about Poppies, I've been sending vibes all day.

Nothing much to report here - shiny new insulation all installed. Katie is in bed and fast asleep, full of a cold and no nap today makes for one grumpy toddler.

I don't think this thread is a fluffy dictorship - if I was I wouldn't have been able to join in.

tara - big vibes for your DD & DGD! How you enjoying being a grandma?

weezl - hope you're okay, hon; I know you had a long commute today?

mm - how was your first day back?

    redmel - yay for kai!

Buttons - eek for vet bill!

SS - hope your hubby gets better soon. Let's hope it's a very short stay this time?

Beenie - I forgot to say last night that we (obviously) have parallel babies with their growth spurts. Finn's been feeding loads & loads yesterday and today. Though he did go down for a 3 hour nap this afternoon after several false starts! :T How's Amber doing today?
