SM, did tara get sorted re paternity leave? Like Sami said, he should have had his application in at 25wks (ie six weeks ago). If he didn't do that, his employers are well within their rights to refuse paternity leave. His simplest option then are annual holiday leave (if he has any available); potential other options but most, if not all, of them are unpaid. Depends how difficult his employer wants to be :cool:
And, for the record, I am in no way an HR expert. I'm a former HR Administrator, who knows the procedures from practical experience and when I don't know them I know where to find the information.0 -

Nothing much to report here - shiny new insulation all installed. Katie is in bed and fast asleep, full of a cold and no nap today makes for one grumpy toddler.

Beenie - I forgot to say last night that we (obviously) have parallel babies with their growth spurts. Finn's been feeding loads & loads yesterday and today.
