    Are we all genuine? :p

They've just "outed" a troll over on BabynBumb, she had 4000 posts, claimed to have had one pregnancy & a miscarriage already, claimed another pregnancy that just resulted in a premature baby ... She got found out because she started exchanging private details with people that had made friends, wasn't too convincing, and some behind-the-scenes checking up was done. No babies, nothing. Just a troll. :(

Some people are just weird :rotfl:
    I'm real.
    just had a nice bath
    Me too.

I'm real, and I'm definitely not called Dave :rotfl: In fact, I know someone IRL who is on the forums now! Well, I know her mostly from non-IRL but have met her, if that makes sense!

Rang in sick for tomorrow, CM happy cos her kids have a teacher training day so gets to spend the day with her family, but the kids were gutted cos they love playing with Seth!

Weezl, did you see my post earlier re cameras? I wouldnt mind your opinion on it. I never seem to be able to ask anyone who isnt trying to sell me something!

hi angela, sorry I clicked on the linkie and then went to work :rotfl:

I've read it more thoroughly now.

Seems like you'd probably be able to create a profile for doing portrait work which looks like it's customisable, ie you'd be able to create soft photos with a rich saturated colour.

I've never played with one, but it does look really good. And loads more megapixels than mine, and the video footage would be handy for capturing all Rose's milestones :)

Ummmmm, wish I could say more but I've only really had the D70 and the D200 so I'm not sure I'm expert enough!

Oh but I love that it does 1cm macro though :)

  • Em - sounds like the bug Liam has just got over. He lost his appetite for a week. Whatever you do don't ring NHS direct - they completely over react and put the fear of god into you talking about dehydration, hydration packs & a&e  Hope you all feel better soon.

Carla - how nice of your Dad

Feelie - lovely to hear you sounding so upbeat

Jam - meeting new friends tired Liam out too, but only enough to fall asleep in the car :)

    SM - an annoucement, interesting?

Germma -, hello and lovely pic

    Beccles/Weezl - lovely pics too!

    :hello: to everyone else

    Hello all,

been offline for a few days - stupid internet connection - and I come back to find out I've about 90 pages to read! Anyone want to update me with anything important? ;)

Got Elena weighed today and she has gone up to 17lbs 1oz  She has been having a rice feed every evening for the past couple of days and always seems to be looking for more when the bowl is done. I think we're going to try her on a little baby porridge and then talk to the health visitor again before we try her on veggies etc.: I'm still a little wary as so many sites say not to give babies anything other than milk until 20 weeks and we're only at 16 weeks. We'll see how she takes to it :)

Right, away to read back - if I'm not back by tomorrow, would someone come and rescue me? :D

NMS - I don't have anything much to say, but it is really lovely to see you posting.

For me, I've got a baby group, trip into town and a Mummy Meet planned for tomorrow.

From what i can see it can be very automatic if you wish to use it that way or used on manual too. The pixels dont bother me too much and i dont suppose the video does either but it would be good to have the option. Ive even looked at second hand older DSLR's but they arent any cheaper than that and im not sure i know enough to warrant a full DSLR anyway.

I was given some pennies for xmas and am thinking of putting the rest to it and buy one for myself....tho i have been thinking about buying one since before Rose was born. It alot to spend on myslef and i feel a little guilty x
