He a has bruise on each of his lower legs, in exactly the same place on each leg, and we have no idea how they got there :undecided he has had the bruises before and we hadnt a clue how they got there then either! I wondered if it might be from the extended holding up of the legs during nappy changes but they are higher than the ankles where we hold him up. *insert very confused face!*
Firstly if he's had any injury of any kind it should have been recorded in CM'ers accident book and you notified and asked to sign it. However could it be a highchair? e.g Seth kicking about in the highchair and kicking either a tray or table? (Reece is a bo)ger for kicking about when he's being fed!)newmoneysaver wrote: »Claire, I think you should share, I'm nosey?
Its nothing really but I'll tell so everyone doesn't get all over-excited and blame me for not being able to sleep if I make you all wait for an explanation!
Unfortunately the house 5 doors down from me had a serious house fire yesterday afternoon. My next door neighbour knocked on my front window and said there was a fire, I looked out and saw which house it was and knowing 3 young children live there I left my boys with DH and ran down the road like a nutter! Mum was outside screaming so I grabbed her and asked her where the children were and where hubby was. Children were already out and next door and hubby was at work so everyone out safe. However at this point she went into shock and was shaking and asking me where her children where and panicing that she hadn't shut the doors to stop the fire spreading. She wanted to go back in and shut the bedroom doors! The fire was at the rear of the house and black smoke was pouring out the front windows, from under the roof tiles and through the hole the back window had left when it exploded. The back window ended up on the conservatory roof which then melted and the window and hot frame started another fire in the conservatory.
Once her hubby and parents had arrived I left mum with them whilst (in true Claire fashion) I put the kettle on and made everyone a cuppa - including the firemen! The bedroom which had the fire in is gutted with nothing recognisable, the other childrens bedroom is all black and nothing is salvagable. Also because of the severity of the fire the water has also caused a lot of damage. But the fire service did say that if they had been delayed getting to them or been a few minutes longer then they would not have entered the house as it would have been too dangerous and they would have only been able to tackle the fire from outside which wouldn't have saved anything.
The only reason they all got out alive without any physical is because they had a working smoke alarm upstairs which saved them all :j. It just makes you realise how fortunate we are to still have our material possessions and photos which they might have lost forever, so please everyone check your smoke alarms work and make sure you have enough of them in your homes:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

I'm still poorly and feeling sorry for myselfSympathy please! It is the nice kind of poorly though, you know weak and pathetic, but not too bad. I shall milk it tonight when OH gets in and make him give me lots of fuss.
I also want to say now, while I'm well, that my OH is a really good guy. I complain about him alot and misread him when I'm low, and he does find it hard to deal with me when I'm like that, but I think I do him an injustice on here.
Awww hope you feel better soon xx
I also do my husband an injustice, but the only time we tend to comment is when they have !!!!ed us off. Mostly I loves him loads
