That makes it a pretty pointless exercise then.
That's what I thought. If I'd gone not knowing anything about weaning I'd have left none the wiser but with an A5 leaflet that wasn't very helpful.
I think Isla will be in the sling on Tuesday too, SJ if there's a particular type you wanted to try let me know and if I've got one I can bring it so you can have a go. (Slings have become my latest shopping addiction)
Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
I'm not a stokke person either. I don't like 4 wheels (I insulted Samis new pram on facebook yesterday - oops!)
I want a parent facing 3 wheeler with big wheels and a high handle bar, bar not handlesTill then, I shall stick with my twister

Warning, the following statement may be controversial: I just googled Stokke as I didn't know what you were all talking about, and I have to say I don't really like it*ducks for cover* (no offence intended to Stokke owners!!)
I don't like them but I didn't like to say
I don't like 3 wheelers either
I did totally love my Silver Cross Kensington pram though.
Another bad afternoon here. Mam is back on feeding Charlotte those chocolate desserts at lunchtime, even though I have specifically said numerous times that she is not allowed sugar at lunchtime.
They make Charlotte too hyper, then she won't go down for her nap and just bounces around doing naughty things. Then she turns into a horrid twisty monster about 4.30pm and she just cries and clings onto me.
Was chewed to bits as I was trying to do more uni work, and ended up ringing my Mam and work and told her off and cried down the phonePathetic I know, but I hope she's got the message.
I looked up the nutrition on the desserts and they have about 3 teaspoons of sugar in a tiny little pot  They are next to the normal yoghurts so my Mam thinks they are healthy, but they are just milk, cream, sugar and chocolate. Mmm nice and nutritious then!
Had fajitas for tea and the guacamole made Charlotte happy again. It's one of her fave foods.
Just had my last cuppa and I'm fasting nowHere I go again on my own....0 -

Seconded!
Glad you've (hopefully!) got the message across to your mumxx
We've had a lovely afternoon at my sister's. Took a different route there (it's about 50miles away) and thought I was lost so had a bit of a mini panic but turns out the road was just longer than I thought (only vaguely had a quick look at a map last night) and I hadn't missed my turning after all
Got the toy boxes so just need to have a change around in the living room and set them up - then fill them!
