Oops, it took me so long to type that one handed lots of other posts appeared inbetween!
Jillie I live 5 minutes outside Manchester city centre, Isla and I will have to pop in and say hi when your back in work. Which play centre is it that's planned for next week?
Susan Im forever forgetting to bid on things at the minute, they end with no bids then get relisted and go for way more than I want to pay.
Aless I highly recommend a Sophie. It's almost Isla's favourite thing, its a very close second to the jumperoo which makes her sqeal with delight when I put her in it :rotfl:
I really want a cup of tea but Isla's determined to go for the longest feed possibleBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

no problem. i'll pm you my moby number.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Oooooohh I had a NAP! Monster and I went to bed and she fell asleep while feeding but refused to let go of me so I was pretty much stuck there. And it was wonderful!
Toys R Us are shipping us replacement parts for the Sing It Baby, and we got the most astonishing gold wedding invitation through the post while I was sleeping. It came in a transparent plastic envelope to protect the envelope. It's that fancy. We're supposed to be in Copenhagen for a conference on the day of the wedding so I'm not sure if we can attend, but my sparkly fetish is thoroughly satisfied.
Just checking, does "no boxed gifts please" mean, Cash, b!tches! ?
I'd put a toaster in a gift bag
At least it didn't say 'it was your choice to have children and while we respect that, it is our choice not to have children at our wedding, so get a baby sitter!' There was a thread about that ages that I remember.
Or 'come to our wedding, there will be a meal, you must pay £30 each for the meal. Plus, we want cash, not gifts or vouchers, just cash as we plan on using this to pay for our honeymoon that we have already booked, minimum donation £50 And the bar aint free neither!' :rotfl:
When DH's cousin got married, it was DH mum who done the invitations for the family. We got an invite with 'we've booked you a hotel room, you owe us £80 and we think that the minimum gift should be worth £50 from each of you because it's 'Cousin's' big day'. Seriously....0 -

We also love Sophie, a lot! I would say more than the Jumperoo, which is also popular but only when H is in the right mood.
I am currently trying to plan a kitchen! IKEA make it sound so easy, but I'm not so sure:rotfl:.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
SS, I'll post the dresses tomorrow hun when there is money in the bank. *embarrassed smile*
No rush, lovely, let me know when you're posting so I can tell my parents to expect it. Once everything has arrived they're packing a box and I'll organise a courier but if it doesn't arrive in time friends are coming over in a couple of weeks and can probably bring them alongI'd put a toaster in a gift bag

Ouch. I remember that thread and couldn't believe that there were people defending the rudeness. I think it's fine not to have kids at your wedding if you don't want them there. Our wedding only had one kid present and she was securely nestled under my dress - but we didn't know any we wanted to invite and wouldn't have been so obnoxious to our friends in any case.
I was also once given a wedding invitation with a B pencilled in the corner - clearly I was top of the list for the second round of invitations :rotfl: it had three - THREE - wedding lists, too, and the cheapest gift on the list was a £9.99 saucer and of course you can't only buy one.
Weddings bring out the worst in people. I think I'm going to send my regrets and a card wishing the happy couple all the best for the future - and a Zimbabwean million-dollar bill.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Gisi if I can help with the kitchen planning just shout, it's sort-of my job. Not for Ikea thoughBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0
