Mel, it needs to be shiny, get em told!
I can't be bothered making food, but I'm hungry for something hot. Boring freezer stuff or the last packet of that rice stuff (forget whats its called) risotto!
Anyone recommend a good free spreadsheet to forecast when I get money and when bills get paid out?0 -

Okay, Becles, newbie_maz and Beenie we seem to be agreed on Saturday 13th March at The Giant's Den so we just need to agree on a time. 10? Or is that too early?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Can someone spare some sympathy please?
I have been whinging all afternoon that the two Lemsip Max capsules I took did eff all to make me feel better. Turns out, now they've worn off, that they were actually doing a whoooooooooooole lot and now I am unmedicated and miserable with burny eyes and a headache/sore throat/runny nose.
And Molly will not stop a high pitched screaming that is going through me. It's just as well I love her cause it's really hurting me.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I keep meaing to ask: How is the group project going?
It's not started yet. It starts in June, but the tutor put us in groups early so we could get to know the people in our groups better and work out how to run the group, so by the time we get to the group project we can just concentrate on the actual work.
It's a good idea as I've been looking at the styles of writing from the others in my group answering other tutor group questions. I've got a general idea on how best to tie all the contributions together for the final wiki we have to submit now.Where was your OH before he came to you?, is he also a spoilt one?
Directly before he was living with his aunt as a lodger but he was only paying a minimal amount. Before that he was living with someone else but it was her house and her this and her that, so he was basically like a lodger again. Sometimes I don't think he realises how much stuff costs which is half the problem as I'm very aware of how much things cost and if stuff is really a bargain or not.
Been to parents night. Josh is doing really well and the teachers all said he's a decent bairn. Most of the teachers gave us tips on where he can improve his work, so I can do bits of coaching with him. His 3D drawing was laughably bad, so the tech teacher is going to give him some extra work, and I was canny at tech drawing so I'll help him with it. Most said he's a bit too chatty and excitable, so he's got to learn to calm down a bit a times. Canny pleased with him though
James two best friends also got into the Catholic school, so they're all happy tooHere I go again on my own....0 -

(((dodgy hugs for SS))) Have you anything else to drug yourself up on? I find coffee helps, but might be a bit late for coffee.
I'm having one of those nights where you question the whole goodness of the idea of having children thing.
Oh and I had a conversation with Amber earlier.

Amber - a-brrrrrrrrrrrrr
Me - No, Mama, Mama, Ma-ma.

I have an Excel spreadsheet set up kind of like how a bank statement is set up (date, type of transaction, description, credit, debit, running total) with all our incomings and outgoings on. I enter in expected transactions (so DDs, SOs, payments into the account, spending on petrol/groceries etc) and then update with actual figures and mark off against bank statement/online banking as we go through the year. Is that any use?
Erm.... I'm not that clever
I'm just going to download the free trial of micorsoft money :rotfl:0 -

Becles, Dave had real trouble with getting his head round how much things cost... He's a lot better now than he was but he does sometimes pug over not being able to buy himself a game or get a takeaway, but on the whole he's good when I say we can't afford things... Making him go food shopping really opened his eyes... And I'm so glad he gave up smoking before the wedding... It's a fiver a day we could ill afford now...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
