Morning all x

can't decide whether we should go shopping as I have a bit of money
to spend (got a 3.3% bonus this month ) or go somewhere like the zoo or safari park? Decisions decisions??

I like about a 50/50 meat/veg split in lasagne - mushrooms, courgettes, tomatoes, peppers, aubergine, nomnomnom.

But I'm really not convinced by baked beans in lasagne _pale_

OH is now talking to Molly in Icelandic. He used to talk to the cat in it, but now the cat is sadly departed the baby gets it. I'm infuriated because she's already juggling two languages and it confuses the issue but he just keeps doing it. I think he doesn't realise it could be a problem for her.

SS, I'm not even going to ask how your DH knows Icelandic.

Also, we had a talk at our prenatal class from the language/speech person who said that bilingual families SHOULD talk to their babies in both languages. It apparently helps develop their brain better (or something) and won't necessarily confuse them at all - and they get the added benefit of being naturally fluent (lucky!).

Two languages is fine - but she's already getting English and German and an extra language without a dedicated speaker who speaks it all the time might make her think that the third language is part of one or both the first two and delay her speaking.

baked beans in lasanga is lovely .. really packs it out ...

just booked national express tickets for philip to go to london to see his nephew for the first time .. and it cost the grand total of £2.50 .. he goes on 10th (of course so i can see you guys on the 9th) and comes back on the 12th ... we're not going london in easter due to zoe learning lessons but i didnt want philip missing out seeing his nephew ... and for £2.50 bargain x

Hi ladies,

I haven't been on for ages as lots going on at home. My parents have been here for the past week and we've been out every day, it's been lovely seeing Isla going from being a little unsure at the start of the week when she saw them to loving her nana cuddles and huge smiles yesterday.

It's made me realise just how big my babies getting already and that I can't bury my head in the sand and pretend going back to work will never happen, it'll be here far too soon.

I see gentle hugs are needed for poorly babies and mummies x x

Thought it about time to venture over to here, its scary as it moves so fast and not online much these days,

Thomas Andrew John was born 25th Feb 2010 7lb 9oz


, 4 days over due , i was induced,
During this pg i had a ovarian cyst measurig 8cm x 8cm x 4 cm, it was drained at 15 weeks pg, Thomas had a 70 / 30 chance of surviving , which he did , the cyst had got stuck behind my utereus and bladder and could not be left in any longer .

I also have 3 other children

David 14 yrs
Keaghan 12 yrs

Safari park, I would imagine it's a wee bit chilly to enjoy the zoo fully.

That's a bargain trip. Funny, it's cheaper to travel all the way to London than it is to travel an hour to Manchester :mad:

William slept for 5 hours in cot last night :j so I got to sleep in my own bed :T.. only trouble was Henry wasnt very happy when he came in during the night to find me there ...

I'm very organised this morning
have stripped beds
2 loads washing done and 3rd in a moment (bedding etc)
2 loads on the line as well - hooray for sunshine (sorry anyone who hasnt any)
bin bags done...
