Has taken me over an hour to get Benjamin off on a few nights in the last week. Tonight was 'cuddles' on mums bed until he went to sleep (read: baby pinned to bed by mummy with elephant firmly over his eyes whilst his eyes rolled around in his head and he grumbled about being cuddled so tightly!!)
I am approaching Benjamins birthday like I did Christmas - less is more  It is not like he will ever remember!!!
it was my fault that she was sick. she was nearly asleep in my arms, so i put her in the cot which of course she wasn't sleepy enough so kept springing back up. i left the room a few times which i dont normally do and she was crying and got hysterical.
i laid her back on my bed after i cleaned up and give her a drink to get the yucky taste out of her mouth and she went off. has been asleep now since. hoping she might go past midnight.
I keep thinking of her birthday like that, but i keep seeing things i like, that's the problem. she's not interested in anything that doesn't make a noise or flash lights or the like.
at least she will see my folks too which will be nice0 -

I do, but I'm afraid the answer could be that the payroll is being done by trained monkeys? The only other thing I can think of is that if you have been awarded a payrise in your absence they have to amend the amount you are paid at 90% of your average earnings to include the payrise. No idea if that is likely?Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Beenie - glad he's gone: hope you can sort something out for the cot
MFD - I agree, asda has some gorgeous baby clothes in just now! I managed to restrain myself today (mostly), but did get some cute babygros and onesies, some tights that were on offer, and some cute bibs (including a long one with sleeves for when we go out). I really wanted the strawberry dress though! I like the thumper clothes but don't need them as my sister sent me the most gorgeous thumper disneyland paris exclusive set for her for christmas which I adore
Had our last baby massage class today which we really enjoyed: £1 for a set of 3 classes is amazing valueThen lunch with our antenatal mums and babies group which was lovely. It was after this that I went into town and kinda went overboard a little on baby stuff - thank goodness its council tax free month :rotfl:
Am now enjoying a white wine spritzer, and am about to open a box of 'valentine collection' chocolates from tesco: down to £1.50 today (instead of £6 original price)Anyone want one? *passes round box*
