Thats why I got one out MILs club book on super cheap sale at £40. It matches the sofa but really is only for a few months for Amber to roll about on. Dog is about to be hunted though :cool: Plus, my feets get cold on the floor and I hate slippers.

Sell it on ebay. Then use the monies to buy a PRAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

I do this!
Jack had a bottle at 7am then went back to sleep in bed with me til 9.30am - there is no WAY he would have slept this long in his cot!

If I win the EuroMillions I will arrange a HUGE MSE PT meet for all of us including a 2 night stay in a hotel - one night with loadsa babysitters so we can have a baby free night (Travel included of course)

Maybe that's just the way she is and nothing would make it any different. Some babies probably need less sleep than others, the same as adults - it's just unfortunate for you that she doesn't like all her sleep at one time!

Holly has not had a night feed since the first few weeks. She just slept through. At first I would feed her around midnight then put her down and wake her at around 6am as I was told newborns need fed every 3-4 hours and I was fed up lying awake waiting for her to wake up sot I would end up waking her so I could go to sleep! But then I stopped waking her and she would do 12-8. Now it's normally about 10-8. This is just the routine she has kind of created herself though. I think I want to try to putting her to bed a bit earlier and to make sure she can settle herself. She usually does this ok, but it's becoming less frequent so I should probably try to nip it in the bud early. Anyway, she was in bed at 9pm tonight so think I will try for that most nights. Hardly any napping during the day though!

we seem to have dropped one nap here too so it's one nap a day for us, which means i am starting to bath her around 7.30pm.

so difficult to know what to do isn't it when you have information coming from everywhere. i find it hard to concentrate at work sometimes as i am trying to think of ways of getting LO to eat/sleep

af, I bring Amber into bed with me most morings too about 6am. She usually then has another snooze till about 7.30 when we need to get up anyway. During the night if she does wake, unless she is proper crying, I ignore her. But she does have meerkat and usually you hear her eat-eat meerkat or talking to meerkat or blowing raspberries at meerkat and even one time meerkat must have said something bad cos he got slung out the crib (then she cried because she was sorry and wanted meekat back).

And yes, you do what is best for you and your family.

You know yourself that I did loads of things 'right' when Benjamin was little (and did loads of things wrong too LOL) but we still have problems on occasion (okay, maybe more than occasion)!!

only joking .... i still think it's amazing you can get benjamin to sleep with his elephant over his eyes. my stressy LO would throw it in a fit of rage hehehe

See if it wasn't for the fact that outside is dirty, I'd wear my socks there too. Shoes are pretty to look at, but I really hate wearing them.

pram obsession whats that your on about elle, really dont know what you mean (i have 3 in my hall right now )

i hope so glam he can be a lovely little boy sometimes but there are times he is a nightmare like tonight when he poured black paint on my carpet!
think im going to head to bed fell asleep this aft so think i need to start going to bed earlier!
