On a slightly more serious note, the Germans have laws about the names you can give children to prevent this sort of thing happening. If you're not a German citizen and you want to give your child a name related to your own country or language of origin you have to provide evidence that your chosen name is a given name in your country.

We went to register the monster with a copy of Harry Potter, printouts of the lyrics of Molly Malone and the IMDB page of Molly Ringwald :rotfl:
As it happened we had more trouble getting them to accept OH's highly unusual first name. She refused to believe his passport and such, kept telling us how it would be illegal to name your child that in Germany, and called in colleagues to be astounded along with her.

Ebay seller has offered me free p&p on any other item she has for sale. I am off to see if she's selling any lead bricks

did you tell them that although your OHs name is a little unusual, its like so boring compared to half of ammericans

Maz - are they 18mth contracts? will you use the minutes/txts? the 'free wii' isn't so free when you add up the total cost of the contract, the £14pm difference over 18mths is over £250
you can get that Wii bundle with an extra game for £180 on tesco direct

my shrink person says im doing very well (told her i owe alot of it to you guys ) ... she wants me to stop thinking so negative and always thinking everything is bad when just one thing is bad ..

philip saw i woke in not a happy mood so gave me a tenner (he knew i was gonna bargain hunt today) and told me to treat myself ... so got a couple of tops and a belt from primark there was a shirt with a belt last one hidden right in the back for £4 instead of £12 ..

SS - OH won an item for £10 (only bidder) and they set postage at £5. cost them £12 to post!!!

Maz - I joined flylady this week :eek: I've managed 2 stars and that will be it until we get a wardrobe and sort our clothes out. oh & get BIL to move out!

I always knew I could rely on you Sami for sense when it came to these things... Yep 18months contracts,...just said to OH would we really use Wii as well (even though we probably should do more exercise)
