Wanted: 4 contracts

as i'm having serious issues with 3 (see here), I'm now looking for 4 contracts.
my wife and I can get our current phones unlocked to take a new sim, my children however will require new phones. Long time since I've looked at new contracts and my searching seems to throw up loads of "free console" or "money back via redemption" deals. All I want is a good deal, not a load of hassle or a 'freebie' that costs me money over several years, so...where should I go? Looking for ~400 texts + 100 minutes/month/phone...and not 3 :D
...am I likely to get a better deal going into a shop with having 4 contracts to post over?

Any idea what handsets your children would like?

Remember if you are using a cashback site like Quidco and buying multiple phones not to order them all at the same time (if you are ordering online) as it would only track as one amount (e.g. £35) not for each phone which you could expect (e.g. 4x£35).

Some of the networks offer SIM only deals (which you could still get cashback on) or look for a deal including a phone and other "gifts" which you would otherwise pay for (to keep or sell) - but remember that the gift cost and handet is included in the tariff, therefore you are likely to be paying more monthly for the same amount of minutes/texts than you could get cheaper on a SIM only.

if you are doing this for an entire family, consider t-mobile. Pay £5 on top of your own contract, and your entire family can phone/text each other unlimited.

The bonus also is that your family can be on either PAYG or contract, it doesnt matter. Just copied this from the site.

Share unlimited* calls and texts between you and four of your family on T-Mobile for £5 per month.
    • So your daughter can ring for a lift... again
    • So you can text your brain box cousin for the pub quiz answers
    • Or just so your other half can remind you to feed the goldfish
Any of it sound familiar? With a little help from our new Family Booster, it's even easier to stay in touch with your family - plus it's great value too.
Whoever sets up your Family Booster pays just £5 per month. And that £5 gets you and four of your family on T-Mobile unlimited* calls, texts and picture messages to share with each other.
