They normally replace with other items if they sold out, a few months back me and the OH were tag teaming as the medium chickens had sold out and they put extra large beasts in the offer, we were getting £11 chickens in the deal!
M&S are selling beasts? :rotfl:Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -
I got two medium chickens (looked for the biggest I could find thanks to mse
) two lots of the med style roasting veg, one profiterole stack, the millionaire's desserts, a bottle of chardonnay and one of pinot grigio (there were a heck of a lot more wines in the deal at MK but that is quite a big store) all for free thanks to my Sky M&S vouchers which finally arrived just in time. 0 -
We had the beef roulades with Med veg last night, they were to die for. Really tasty and cheesy.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0

In the 'Weekend' magazine, which accompanies this Saturday's Daily Mail, there are some truly inspirational Delia Recipes. The pictures are fantastic and the dishes look so appetising and tasty. (Is the cookware in them recently bought from Aldi or is it Le Crouset stuff? I wonder?)
One of the recipes is for 'Coq au Vin'.
Just the job for using up an M & S 'Dine in for 2 £10' chicken. Cor! Delish!0 -
I got the Cajun Chicken breasts, the med veg. the millionaire shortcake deserts and Pinot Grigio. I was in for Salmon and other bits which I needed and came to 15 quid but had a voucher so added the meal deal and only cost another fiver.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. Don't forget everyone that on Monday morning (for those of you who can get to the shop then), everything they haven't sold is generally put out for half price. So you can get a chicken that was, say, £5 for £2.50. And you don't have to buy the puds and side dishes (although these are usually on for half price too). Of course it doesn't apply to the wine though! Shame.0

They didn't have the millionaires shortbread dessert, that seems to be popular here. Will try to get it another time.. There was very little selection to be honest in our store. I got the lamb mousaka which I've had before and it's really nice. Also profiteroles and sage stuffing for tomorrows roast as there were no appealing side dishes left..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I can definitely recommend the goats cheese & sweet-fire roasted tomatoes & basil pesto en croute. I'm vegetarian and this is the only veggie main, I hope they continue to include it in future dine in offers. And the millionaire shortbread desserts are scrummy. In the Newcastle store yesterday they were constantly restocking the chiller cabinets to keep up with the customers and most items were available.0

We got 2 of these offers on Friday. We got 2 chickens (biggest ones they had left), lemon souffles and millionaire shortbread dessert, 2 packs of roast potatoes and 1 bottle of wine and one lot of brew

......goats cheese & sweet-fire roasted tomatoes & basil pesto en croute......
at least M & S always do a veggie main course, unlike Waitrose who didn't - not a vegetarian myself but think it's a missed opportunity when they don't.0
