  • The list of food in the offer is at the top of this thread. You won't find a list of products in store just stickered products all together in the same area.

You will find the meal deal for a tenner with green offer signs situated on the end of one or two fridges, depending on the size of the store. All the food has dine in for a tenner black stickers on it. The wine is kept in the wine section, well it is in Scotland due to licensing laws, and bottles in the offer should have a green label round the bottle or have a price ticket on the shelf highlighting its part of the offer.

The actual stock in stores just depends on what has been delivered, they don't always seem to get all the options in or if they do it sells out fast. I tend to buy my deal on a Thursday or a Friday as they appear to have better options. Not been lucky with the wine as I wanted the Rose this time to try but they had none left in my local at lunchtime today. I got the Raso de la cruz this time, last time I had one of the Shiraz which was ok but not as fruity as I would have liked.

If you don't like wine then opt for the Soft brew drinks or the double pack of Elderflower presse which is very nice.

Make sure you buy everything in the deal, a friend of mine went in and decided not to buy wine as she was getting the bus and it would be too heavy to carry so she ended up paying full-price for all her food. Bit silly, I did try and tell her afterwards that the till wouldn't trigger the deal if you didn't buy all the bits. I would have thought that was a pretty obvious thing personally, maybe my friend is just abit daft.
  • I've got the chicken & profiteroles for tomorrow evening. Unfortunately ds has spotted the profiteroles & it's quite possible they'll magically disappear from the fridge before tomorrow evening!

I recommend the chicken and the cheese, they taste amazing and are the things that people will typically buy.

We were in Manchester this evening and they had almost everything. The only thing that was cleared out was the wine, but they still had 3-4 types. I got a £7 chicken, the cheese, potatoes and a bottle of chardonnay. They normally replace with other items if they sold out, a few months back me and the OH were tag teaming as the medium chickens had sold out and they put extra large beasts in the offer, we were getting £11 chickens in the deal!

Do check out the meat ailse as well. The past few times I have been in they had loads of yellow stickered items, I can't understand why people pass them up! In addition to the meal deal we got a huge 1/2 leg of lamb, very meaty outdoor reared pork ribs, pork leg joint, a double pack of pork escalopes and a double pack of lean mince. Our shopping came to £22 and we have filled the freezer!

The chicken is gorgeous - far better than anyone elses IMO, and the ready to roast gammon is nice but wont feed more than 2-3 (the chicken always feeds 4 in our house!). The goats cheese and pesto is also very nice and we love the roasting veg. Deserts - well in our house there is nothing they dont like lol, but profiteroles and millionaires shortbread is always a fave, and I keep the plastic pots for infividual jellies for later.

All of the doft drinks are nice but I especially like the elderflower presse :T
