Has anyone tried any of the wines? I'm wondering which to get.
  • M & S wines are really good. if you like red try the Moontepulciano d'abruzzo. its the most expensive out of the list at £6.45. a nice young red that is really light and drinkable:p:p
  • oops just realise that the wine i mentioned isn't on the list but it was in the deal at my local m & s in london
  • Last time I got one of these was when they first started, the till let you get a large chicken is that still the case?

  • I will be taking up the offer yet again but in my opinion all the wines which I have had before (always red) are all pretty basic and very thin. The price is nothing to go by.

The chickens are the medium ones, the biggest one I could find yesterday was £6.

I could only find the Cobborah Shiraz and Cobborah Chardonnay at Tamworth yesterday but Burton had different wines to those ones. I suppose it must depend on what each store is sent.

I got one today for £7.15- very nearly 2kg
  • The Tesco Finest meal deal also appears to be a good deal this weekend (not sure if it's the same every w/e?). Same as M&S for £9. The bottle of wine alone should have been £9.99!

Sorry if this is old news..... I usually do the M&S one but couldn't be bothered to drive to the nearer store today so have only discovered the Tesco one today (out of lazyness! Friday nights are not for cooking lol!).

Ooooh - mine was £7.34 - and when I looked at the large chickens, there was one priced at £6.90! How can that be - a medium chicken bigger than a large one??:p
