Hi all
I am on a 18 month contract for a 5GB broadband dongle with 3 (18 months is up next month). I have been happy with the signal and service since we moved a few months ago and it only costs me £7.50 a month as I got a loyalty discount. I have been looking at the 3 mifi as with my dongle I can only use it with my laptop and hubby would like to connect to the net with our wii and pc3 which I think he could do with the mifi. Does anyone know if I can use my sim card from my dongle with the 3 mifi or do I have to get a different contract?

I don't know about 3 but certainly with Vodafone you can put the SIM in whatever modem you want to so I imagine it's the same with 3 so long as you can buy one without a contract (and a quick search shows you can from several places)0

I called up to cancel my mobile broadband with three last month as the contract was coming to an end and they offered to upgrade it to a mifi and knocked £3 off the monthly bill (on broadband lite - 1GB per month). Had to sign up for another 18 months though.
When the mifi was delivered I had to use the SIM card that was in the old dongle. Really impressed with it so far.0
