    Might be able to tell you if it does have a recovery partition built in and how to access it. Did you get any manuals or information with the netbook when you bought it?

    just aske neice same question ,,she aint in her house but I will hope she has still got them and finds out:)

    Having had a quick scan of their forums, apparently pressing esc during the first 5 seconds after the system is powered up will access the recovery utility. Just remember that all data on the netbook will be erased so if possible back up anything you want to keep first.

    wont let her unistall MSN and reinstall,,this is y I think reformatt is a decent option,,plus it cleans a lot of s**t out her netbook

    was able to reformatt it thanks to all ur help which I passed on,,still cannot get her windows live messanger to work,,I am going to get it from her and sit here with it and do wot u cleverr people tell me ,,and I know it will be fixed :)
