help with mot due date
Comments
-
If you take a car for an early MOT and it fails - say it is due in feb but you take it in jan, you can still use the car until the date of the current MOT expires.
I was told exactly the opposite when I took my previous car for its MOT, tester said that the failure is recorded on computer so car is shown has having no current MOT.
Also if a car has failed MOT it is in an unroadworthy condition so an offence is committed if it is driven on public highway. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
