I've seen this on occasion in Tesco, it's in a red box and very pricey compared to the US blue box, it's not the same label but I've made it and it's exactly the same product. Sorry my description's all a bit vague though, will try to find more information :(

Everytime I mention I'm American, I tend to get the 'Oh yes, I've been to Florida before' response, but I just smile politely as I know they probably don't realise there are other states about ;)

I tried some and nearly cried it was so gross. But then again Kraft Mac and Cheese isn't gourmet food is it! There's nothing like neon orange macaroni.

I always tell people "Living in the US is not like living in Disney World." I always tell people to go to Philly, but then again I am biased.

Wouldn't touch florida with a barge pole!

Maybe try Captiva? It's beyond beautiful. We went to Anna Maria Island for our honeymoon (couldn't afford Captiva, Mum and Dad paid for me to go there!), and that was the best two weeks of our lives.

And we are looking at other states for future years as now I/we have done FL, NY, MA and ME it is time to move on.

Don't assume all Brits only do two places. :)

There's one thing I never understand. The US is so big, with 50 states... Why do people from over here always go to NYC or Florida? There are so many beautiful parts of the country, NYC and Florida are !!!! holes
Hmph...well, as a former New Yorker, I must take exception to your remark LOL however I do agree that people should really visit some of the "in between" bits of the States as well as the tourist attractions. ;) As for grape jelly, I've always brought my own (as well as my other American staples like Hershey's and tinned pumpkin) whenever I visit home, because I do find AmericanSoda.co.uk to be far too expensive, with the exception of - duh - soda. The price they charge for shipping a heavy crate of 24 cans actually does end up being a good value, especially when you consider that House of Fraser charges about £1.50 PER CAN for A&W root beer. Fools.

Second best place to get stuff like this, aside from bringing it or bribing someone to bring it for you, is eBay. Just beware of the overpriced scheisters.

solodanceparty, are you from Philly then?? I grew up on the Main Line about 20 miles southwest of the city. :)

I'm the same with Mountain Dew. Every time someone I know goes to the states, they know their life won't be worth living if they don't bring me some back !

once i saw my friend drinking mountain dew, she got it from 99p store or poundland. made me really excited. 4 cans for 99p!

    :)
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble

Harvey Nichols in London has a very good food department which does stock a large range of American products but not sure about grape jelly. Worth a look though. Don't know about other Harvey Nichols though.

There's a shop in Covent Garden called CyberCandy. I go in there for Mountain Dew and Wint-o-gree Lifesavers :)
It's quite expensive though and not sure if they do grape jelly. I do LOVE grape Kool Aid, sadly not easy to get here.

I spent a few months working on a summer camp in NY State, a lovely part of the world. NYC is brilliant for a day or two, but like London, can't stand it longer than that, and I grew up in London!

    Mmmmmmm, grape Kool-Aid.......

I stumbled across Cybercandy in Covent Garden by accident some years ago while on a theatre day with my son. We both got a bit excited seeing all the deliciously-bad-for-you goodies in stock :p

They also have shops in Brighton and Birmingham now.
