Thanks very much for all the replies, I can't be bothered to pay inflated prices and postage online and my nearest Costco is 70 miles away (and we don't belong). I was vaguely hoping that a supermarket might stock it and I hadn't noticed. I wonder why, with all the weird flavours of jam we have that nobody bothers to stock it?
I did think about making it but the cost of grapes tends to be prohibitive and it may not taste the same.
It seems that certain flavours are predominant in each country. Grape is huge in America, grape jelly, grape juice, even children's medicine can be grape-flavoured. Cherry is another staple flavour in the US, as well as cinnamon, but they aren't as popular here, where it seems that strawberry rules, closely followed by blackcurrant.

Since Welch's grape juice has been introduced here in the UK the past years and it seems to be selling well, maybe one day the distributors will have a go and introduce their yummy Concord grape jelly too :p
  • I'm the same with Mountain Dew. Every time someone I know goes to the states, they know their life won't be worth living if they don't bring me some back !

  • I get stuff from americansweets.co.uk it's expensive, so it's a treat when I do get stuff. Luckily my aunt is due to send another box soon. :) I've been wanting Kraft mac and cheese for a while. When I go home in October, I'm going to gain so much weight.
Waitrose has Goober (grape jelly and PB mix)

There's one thing I never understand. The US is so big, with 50 states... Why do people from over here always go to NYC or Florida? There are so many beautiful parts of the country, NYC and Florida are !!!! holes.

I've seen this on occasion in Tesco, it's in a red box and very pricey compared to the US blue box, it's not the same label but I've made it and it's exactly the same product. Sorry my description's all a bit vague though, will try to find more information :(

Everytime I mention I'm American, I tend to get the 'Oh yes, I've been to Florida before' response, but I just smile politely as I know they probably don't realise there are other states about ;)

I like grape jelly too (and I'm English). If you're in London, WholeFoods in Kensington High Street have it.

Isn't that a little like the US visitors that never get out of London?

Wouldn't touch florida with a barge pole! Been a few times to NYC (great) but I think I must be the only UK person to have been to Columbus, Ohio for a holiday - and only then because I have friends there.

Yea, but I think London is a dump as well.
