Where can I get Grape Jelly?

Love this when in the USA where they sell it in HUGE tubs but unable to find it over here. Any ideas?

    My fridge.

I made some with the grapes I grew last autumn.

Get grapes, boil down, strain. Measure the same volume of jam sugar as grape juice. Boil until setting point. Put into sterilised jars.

    Simples.

Thanks, it was good to have a look at this website, especially as we will be in USA in 9 weeks time. My sister is looking out for offers on Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup and I'm sure it will be half the price of what's on the website.

Costco have, in occasion, had Smuckers grape jelly. The only thing is it's usually gone in a flash. It's also miles cheaper than the likes of American Soda.co.uk - I see the Skippy peanut butter is over £7 there - I bought 2 in Costco for less than £4 each.

I think I may ask next time I'm in Costco - they've always been happy to take feedback for their buyers about what customers would like in the past.

Maybe I'll save my last jar of Skippy peanut butter in the hope of getting some Smuckers jelly to go with it - then I can have my favourite snack - hot buttered toast with peanut butter and grape jelly. Yummy, yummy (and probably a week's calorie allowance!)

  • my local Costco is Glasgow but as far as I know they pretty much all stock the same stuff. I haven't seen any Smuckers for ages though - last time it was Strawberry and I bought 2 giant jars. It must just depend what they can get at the time, I also used to buy boxes of choc chip cookie mix (think it was Krusteaz) but they haven't had it for a while - I've had to make do with Ghirardelli's chocholate brownie mis (what a hardship :rotfl:)
I should be in Costco this weekend - I'll be sure to post if Glasgow have any Smuckers (once I've loaded up the car with my supply!)

    Love the stuff too :D

If I know someone's coming over from USA, I always put in a request for squeezy bottles which are lighter and less risky to have in luggage.

Since the visits are few and far between, I've found Hartley's Best Blueberry jam is similar in taste, especially when you make PB & Js. I'm making one for my lunch today as a matter of fact - yum!

Thanks very much for all the replies, I can't be bothered to pay inflated prices and postage online and my nearest Costco is 70 miles away (and we don't belong). I was vaguely hoping that a supermarket might stock it and I hadn't noticed. I wonder why, with all the weird flavours of jam we have that nobody bothers to stock it?
I did think about making it but the cost of grapes tends to be prohibitive and it may not taste the same.
