Hi,

I renewed my contract at the end of May, have the new rules come into play SINCE then? Reason I ask is i renewed partly because of these numbers being inclusive. I sold the phone they gave me as an upgrade, with the proceeds I then bought another phone on ebay but was scammed and will more than likely have lost my money. NOW i read that I'm going to have to pay for calls to these numbers! I'd rather just cancel if this is the case and find a network who don't charge, but do I ahve just cause for cancellation and would they ask for the upgrade phone back?

Yes 0844/0845/0870 calls are still included in inclusive minutes.Only 07744/07755 is being charged from 1/7/2006.

    Quite right.

Can some moderator edit the title to avoid more confusion?

or it can be merged with the other big O2 - 07744 thread.

    Many Thanks

You can try calling canecellations, there are mixed reaction from O2. Some managed to cancel and keep the phone.

If they dont budge its not that bad, you can still call 0844 / 0870 numbers out of your minutes.
Try searching a number in call checker.
