  • Bloody hell. I am so tired and this is probably the wrong time and place to post this but my mum is driving me bonkers. or rather the situation we are in is driving me bonkers.

I worked two extra shifts tonight - for the money obviously which means I will have done 3 12 hour days with no breaks all sorts of crap at work. more hours tomorrow and fri and I worked till 2 monday and 12 lat night. I have come in tonight exhausted. I haven't spoken to my best friend for three weeks, I have barely been nere feel like I haven't got a clue what is going on.

I got out a pile of books tonight to "mark" which of course I haven't done - was doing a bit of planning and then got distracted by the Arms.

Mum made some comment - not hurtful but enough to for me to say have you got any idea what day is like? and then her to get the hump and say oo I can't say anything. which is true I guess. but then neither can I?

I onlytook the extra!!!!ing shift cos WE need the money.I worked monday upstairs - got loads done came down to her all miserable and going to bed last night I sat down here and she just keep toalking to me so I couldn't get anything done.

When she was in FLorida I'd come in eat a bit of toast and work, watching a DVD or TV I could spread out relax, have anap, stay up.

Now its come in eat a big dinner sit down don't get up unless there is a break. I didn't watch much tv whilst she was away, I 'd save it all for saturday mornings. I could work when I wanted

I have TRIED saying don't cook dinner when I work late. I have tried saying don't wait for me to eat. she just doesn't take any sodding notice.

I aware I sound like an ungrateful!!!!!. I just have so much to do and feel like I have no time. Its so hard, she is lonely she has been ill (although not bloody told anyone) I have been worried sick about her.

I am having one of those weeks were I feel I am going to lose it.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Oh Buffy, *hugs*. I'd say talk to her, but from what you've said before she wouldn't take much notice - not in a positive way (or am I getting confused with someone else?). Is there any way you can move out? I think you need to find some way of getting through to her that you're two adults living in the same house, not mother and little girl.

  • I'm running away Inky - I'm leaving the UK aged 39, going to pretend the day hasn't happened and I'll pretend I'm still 39 when I come back!

Buffy - you really need to put the brakes on, you're going to make yourself poorly working so many hours. Please - you need to look after yourself. xx
