omg dh had just said he has decided to get rid of our mortgage protection untill the recession is over!!!
Isn't that a bit back to front?!I just ordered it Lou
Do you think stripes on me will be OK
They'll be fine Spud, you'll look great in it. And they're not really stripes, more blocks of different colours.
Changed my mind about the book, someone posted an SOA for me to get my teeth into instead!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Spud, what shoe size are you? Makes it easier to look, and I love looking at shoes...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Anyways upshot is... altho i dont protect my own identity on here, why should i, i love this place and all it's done for me.... i probably wouldnt like it if someone wrote horrible things about me.... and mainly.........
i couldnt take the chance that someone did print off some juicy posts out of context (or even worse, in blooody context!) and give them to him. Between us, he and i are more than capable of cocking up a relationship, we dont need outside interference!
And as for a friend worrying about confronting me and jeapordising the friendship, they have just made me doubt every friendship I have on here, so way to go on that score!
It's undermined my faith in the community a fair bit... not because of what they said, cause honestly they were right... but it was the "ooooh you dont know who i am, i could be A/B/C, so will freak you out by making you wonder...."
Your friends would just have told you straight - no hiding. They aren't a friend.

I wondered what you were doing still here! Jiffy bag posted yesterday BTW.
I agree there were hints chap seemed to be looking for some magic solution... but with debt in his parents names, what on earth could magic it all away? I actually had to read his post to my OH as I was so shocked by it. I really can't imagine how the chap didn't twig there was a problem earlier.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. I read that too, don't think the OP will be coming back though. I think he just wants to hear 'there there it'll all be fine, there's a way out without you having to do anything', given what he said about cccs advice. I wonder if his parents have any idea of the size of the bomb that's about to blow up in front of them.
I really want to know how he got £70k of debt in his parents names? I just can't imagine doing that. I feel really sorry for them.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
