Hello
I'd love to join this challenge if thats okI'm going to go for 20 nsd  I'm a bit worried about saying that as am unsure if this means ns for yourself or ns for the whole family? I can happily do 20 days as I have trained myself not to take my bag out in the school runs etc, however if I have to include my DH I'm in trouble
so, 20 unless DH is included, otherwise I will have no chance of even 1 day :rotfl:

Welcome LittleMissHappy!
It's your rules - personal or household expenditure. It's the same thing for me but from the sounds of it many mums (and perhaps some dads) on here 'encourage' the family to join in. Perhaps start off by keeping it simple though and see how the first month goes then introduce more of your own rules?0 -
NSD 2 for me today! Didn't leave the house or buy anything online! Jipee!!

Hi solventsoon, thanx for asking, it's kind of you to remember. Unfortunately I fell off the wagon about a week ago, but am hoping to quit again soon, not liking the smoking thing at all!! But it's difficult, but will do it again after the weekend!:o Need to get back on the No Smoking thread for some motivation!
Cheers

Thanks
Think this month I will stick with worrying about me and DS1, DS2 and DD and the food shopping etc and work on DH reducing his lunchtime spending gradually....;) He's normally pretty good apart from that (and taking out kids to get them treats at the week-end and.....ok maybe not so good)
Going to update sig - 1st was a NSD, today I got food shopping for the week, so hopefully no more spending until next Tuesday...Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Hello
I'm a newbie !!! I popped into town on Monday but was quite good and only spent £7 on what was on my shopping list. Had a NSD today - was going to go to post office but it was snowing after I picked DS up from school, so we trotted home for a hot chocolate insteadI found a good way of keeping the shopping bill down on Monday, stuck to my list and only got an hours parking ticket, so I didn't have time to browse

Evening everyone, can't believe it's only day two of the month and the thread is on page ten!! You all sound like you're doing really well
I managed a no spend day yday as I met a friend fir breakfast before work and he treated me (and then later told me he liked me, which may have been why - not good!) and had tea at a friend's house before my guides meeting.
Today I even made lunch in prep for a 2nd NSd but then sold a few eBay things to extraordinarily fast payers so went to the PO at lunch and therefore also ordered some brooch backs I've needed for a while, thought I may as well make use of a spend day, and paid with eBay points/earnings anyway.
Keep up the NSd's0 -
First one today!
Did I sign up again for 12???????
xxxNevertheless she persisted.0
