    Hello newbie here,
Have decided to try, and am really scared, am now 37 and if I dont try now, I feel it will soon be too late, and know I would regret not having had kids.
No idea what to do! Tried today for the first time, no idea if its going to be easy or difficult or even if we can! AF was on the 1st of this month, and before that the last day of june, so does that make my cycle about 30 days? So the best time is the end of this week?
    Ahhhhhhhhhhh:o

ddebski_us, you must be about to ov, keep BDing!:D
    I have a room I secretly assigned as a nursery too...:shhh:

Not sure I'm going to be able to convince DH to give it one more go this month - poor bloke is absolutely shattered........ :p:D:D

(Sounds like our marriage is shocking, but we've BDed *A LOT* for us this month!!)

............... **tootles off to consider how to get DH to do it just one more time**................

    ;);)

    xDx
Fear is temporary, regret is forever.....

Hello pawpurrs welcome to the thread!!

Don't think you've left it too late; we've had "graduates" on here older than you. :o

Your last cycle was 32 days long then, as CD1 is counted as the first day of AF (so 30th June to 31st July). Roughly, you OV in the middle of your cycle (so CD 16 for you) but this does change. A lot of us monitor our cycles so we get to know our bodies and pinpoint the best days. I use fertility friend to monitor my temperatures.

So, you're CD9 right now - so get BDing!! :D:D:D

    Hi Pawpurrs
Don't worry about it too much at this stage! Just relax and enjoy it ;)
When we started we just BD'd as often as we could take until I got reasonably within my 2ww. (I think I used to run out of energy about CD18 of a 28 day cycle!)

    Hi all.

Welcome pawpurrs, I'm 39 and trying for our first, so you're not alone! Would echo the comments about monitoring your cyles, potential ov days etc.

As for me...CD4..AF on way out. I will test or might see if can get docs to do for free (very MSE:D!). Still not getting hopes up, but it is so not me so far with such light AF.

Hope everyone ok, went back to work today but only did half day as still suffering. Will have to chat to boss tomorrow about my sickness....joy.

    xx

    Welcome pawpurrs:wave:

Since my AF started on 2nd Aug, we are almost cycle buddies!
I think I'll ov around Monday, so I'm planning on BDing on Thursday, Saturday and Monday. My DH is every other day person, can't do more than that:o

Your cycle may be longer than mine since my last AF was 4th July (29 day cycle).
Just BD every other day until you think you ov'd:cool:

Hope you are taking folic acid, and both of you drink lot's of fluid (not alcohol:naughty:) to make better ewcm & the equivalent for OH;)

Can't remember, when did you ov?
Didn't you say you got 2 lines on OPK 3rd Aug? Could you have ov'd then?
If so, you'll only be 6DPO?

Got my peaks fortnight ago today and tomorrow, which was CD23 and 24, then got 2 lines again on 3rd August last week. Did BD on 2nd August but not since.

Its toooooooooooooo confusing, no wonder I have headaches!!

It is possible you geared up to ov on CD23/24, but failed somehow, and ov'd around 3rd Aug, or even before (+opk can linger for few days).

Did your 'AF' start on 6th Aug?
I wonder if it could be ov spotting or it is too early for implantation?
