Ok just spent ages trying to work out (given my stupid unpredictible AF's) when I might be ovulating. If I have done it right it says the it should be between 16th and 23rd. Im taking no chances and DH isnt going to see the light of day for the next wee while.

Not sure if the wee pain thing I have (well not a pain so much as a bit of an ache) is actually an ovulation pain, if there is such a thing. I was sat at my desk thinking the witch was on her way again but maybe not.............I can dream cant I?!

Hi again, I need some advice please . . . I've just poas for ov testing and it had a faint line. Does that mean I should keep poas until the line is darker and it's at that point I'm OVing?

When it's darker is that my peak or has it passed? Also how many days is it likely to take until it gets darker?

Sorry for all my questions, it's just that the times I've poas before nothing has ever shown up so a faint line is uber exciting for me!

Line should be the same or darker than control line.
Once it reaches that you'll ov 12-36hrs later:)

This is mine (positive on 17th at 11:45pm. It was darker within the time limit, it dried a bit funny now:o):

So did you start poas on 16th or were they the most relevant sticks showing lines? I'm intruiged to see how soon I can expect it to start getting darker. Also, I only have another 7 left so I'd better order some ASAP!

I didn't realise that it was something you do more than once a day but I can see quite clearly that it worked for you!!

So, assuming I get my darker line, it's from that point that I pounce on DH ASAP?

I have checked his night shifts and it's gonna be Sat and Sun night. I'm CD 10 so it'll be when I'm CD 14 and 15. From experience do you reckon I'll get my darker line in time??! :eek:

So all this "dpo" you talk about - is that the number of days following the 12 - 36 hour period after your dark line?

I POAS from 11th July (CD8). I threw them away when there were no lines. I'm about to throw these away too, but thought I'd take a pic before that:p

Yep! Or pounce as much as you like once you see the lines starting to darken.

Don't drink too much before testing though, it'll dilute the sample and give you faint results - like the one on 17th at 8:30PM;)

It is better to ov after BD and have the swimmers waiting for ov inside you:)

Yep! So if you get the darkest line on 23rd at 11PM, you'll ov sometime between 11am on 24th to 11am on 25th:)

QQ thank you, you are a legend! :ASo, I'll just keep peeing away and continue to get jiggy until the lines vanish and/or DH is back on nights.

Is the fact that I've already got a faint line likely to mean that it should start getting darker over the next few days? If it doens't get darker does than mean I haven't OVd this month?

Given the stupid shifts coming up I am willing for dark lines to start showing so if anyone fancies sending me some dark line vibes I'd be very happy to take them!

Sorry, one last question on "wee-gate" - if and when I OV, do I recall you all saying that I need to will AF/BFP not to show up for at least10 days?

I'll probably understand all this about the same time as my BFP
